So a coworker refuses to see the last Batman movie because as he says it....... (gay voice)Nightwing's in it (/gay voice)

So I did a google run because I wanted to know what those sticks are called. And found a reference that had interesting shadows.

That co-worker very well could be wrong.. there was nothing in the latest film that implied Nightwing is in it. Now there was a reference to ol' Az-bats..

I can see why you were attracted to this... those are some really cool shadows. Great pose too, and of course great drawing overall. Right hand looks a bit too small as compared to the width of his wrist... or maybe the shape of the arm is off? Dunno, but something looks weird there to my eye.

Oh, and what ARE those sticks called, anyway?
