Jessie, Buddy's boss and a former Beavers girl herself, is older (30, ancient by Buddy and her friend's standards) and married with a 4 year old daughter. I've seen people who were cool before all that happened turn into total squares once they go all 'domestic'. Not all, but some, and a lot of the humor involving Jessie will be derived from the fact that she totally lost her cool once she 'grew up'.
