Here's another simple little strip I busted out last year for our little company. Another loose one art-wise to demonstrate building the strip around the gag rather than lavish drawings.

Cute. I love the tie. I agree that over-detailed pencils would be a distraction. There's a reason all cartoonists' art styles are so, well, cartoonish.

Nice gag. I've known for a while you can draw the hell out of a piece although I'm still continually amazed at your adeptness at changing styles and this simpler style suits the strip perfectly.
