BIRD WATCHING drunkendragon 2013/7/27 17:46 3782 9
My immaturity is showing with this one... Bird Call: Flying: 1.Jean Grey-Summers, with her pet “PHOENIX” © Marvel 2.Melissa Joan Gold, with a Red Breasted Nuthatch and a Tufted Titmouse, her pet “SONGBIRD”s © Marvel Grounded (Left side as you are looking at ‘em): 1.Barbara Morse, with a Northern “MOCKINGBIRD”© Marvel 2.Dawn Granger, with a pair of “DOVE”s at her feet © DC 3.Judy Ken Sebben, the original BIRD GIRL, with Avenger © Hanna Barbera/Adult Swim Grounded (Right side): 1.Shayera Hol with a “GIRL HAWK” flying above her © DC 2.Sally Avril with a pair of “BLUEBIRD”s © Marvel 3.Dinah Lance with a “not-BLACK CANARY” © DC Center stage: A couple of originals of mine. A pair of Boobies. (I can say it, ‘cuz it’s the actual bird’s name) Meet the twins, Rosalita and Azulete, from the Galapagos Islands, nesting place of more than 1/3 of the world’s Blue Footed Boobies. With their pet birds, blue and red footed (feeted?) boobies. The girls’ powers include flight, ummm…heck, nobody is looking at their powers…so moving on… I love watching these birds, don’t you? Credit where credit’s due: Birds are Songbird Remix varieties from Ken Gilliland, and can now be found at SONGBIRD REMIX Gals, all but one, are V5. And I’ll let you guess which one is Genesis 2. Outfits are mostly Supersuits, or GSuits from Daz with quick texture work in photoshop. Hawkgirl’s wings are Epic Wings from Daz. Other props such as Dove’s, Mockingbird’s and Bluebird’s masks, Songbird’s wings, belt, and gauntlets, Hawkgirl’s mask and mace, Birdgirl’s helmet and wings, and even her Crest, are modo creations of mine. Bit of photoshop used in post work…bunch of fun doing it. Thanks for reading this far…most people would’ve stopped 2 paragraphs ago…but my, you are persistent aren’t ya? So here’s your reward…I’m gonna write the word Booby one more time… BOOBY. (see, told ya)

Re: BIRD WATCHING Yeah, I'm slowly working on parts 2, 3 and 4...because I have a few ideas in mind. But I totally forgot about LADY LARK!
I gotta re-work my idea now to definitely include her! Great suggestion!
As for the props and stuff...I'd be happy to offer anything I've ever made to the HMDC for the very reasonable price of free. I just need to remember how to save and upload stuff. So gimme a few days and I'll work on getting it all together.
As for the fishnets...well, I'd love to say I got it on the first try, but as you said, V, it's tough making the 3d nets looks real. I based these off a version of my former V4 bodysuit black canary, but with extra time spent on the detail. And I did do a bit of photoshop touch up, too. But I think a lot of it was how the V4 bodysuit adapted to the Genesis 2 body via auto fit...yep, Canary's the Genesis 2/V6 version. And clothing fits better than some of the Victoria 5 adaptations.
Meanwhile, thanks for the compliments, critiques and suggestions, folks.

Re: BIRD WATCHING i don't know if its the very original concepts...or the fantastic lighting and rendor work...or the awesome stuff you do at creating props and costumes [which i hope one day you'll start offering as freebies to us unskilled starving artists] ... but DD you are easily becoming one of my favorite artists here and one whose work i eagerly look forward to.

Re: BIRD WATCHING Details, details - I especially like the canary flying out of Black Canary's hand. Also, most DAZ artists do a half-baked job on fishnets, but it looks like you could wear these!

Re: BIRD WATCHING Outstanding stuff, DD! A very clever idea and beautifully executed too!A very large cast and all of the women look lovely and sexy. Good poses and comp and your costumes, props and textures are all outstanding. Your OC Boobies are a fine and fun addition as well. Perhaps the best use of Songbird Remix ever. Impressive work, bud!

Re: BIRD WATCHING I love the concept! As usual the characters look great and the birds blend in nicely, rather than dominate the pick. Other heroes if a version 2 is on the way: Mockingbird (Marvel) Magpie(Magpie) Lady Blackhawk (DC) Stephanie Brown Robin (DC) Dawnstar (DC) Firebird (MArvel) Raven (DC) AND I s*&t you not OWLGIRL! http://pdsh.wikia.com/wiki/Owl_Girl
