First, all due apologies to B. This was supposed to be a collaboration but I got too carried away with my end.
Something slightly different for me... trying to turn 3 of my favorite "British Invasion" comic writers into magical heroes... based on Neil Gaimen, Alan Moore and Grant Morrison.

*update: fixed Grant Morrison's flashlight nostrils.

Thanks Ed! I'm very happy you like what I did here though I do think you may be right that I missed a good opportunity to do some things with the lighting.

how the hell did i miss this? there are so many good things going on in this that i really dont know where to start...composition, concept, characterization [your speciality] and the awesome fractal art just to name a few. perhaps the only thing i would have done was to apply more lighting to compliment the magic effects. still a sweet image !

Thanks Danny! The magic FX were done in Apophysis, a fractals program.
