To get the lighting right for this image I used linear point lights in the front, back and for the consoles I used point lighting. I also used Raytraced lighting with a softness of 10 percent. Falloff for the lights is set to about 1200 meters. The ambient glow for all the lights is post worked in using Alien Skin's Impact/Gradient Glow plugin for Paint Shop Pro. Hope that helps.

I would have to agree. This lighting is top notch! How much is render vs Post work if any? and would you be able to share with us how to get lighting this good?
