OH CRAP...I knew I forgot to do something...
good eyes, Star!
I was trying to produce a small edge glow on the curtains and Jayna from the moon...but I totally spaced on softening them and altering the color to match the Moon itself...
So although those edges were on purpose, they certainly were left incomplete...
As always, it's the small details that make the piece...

PS...I knew the pose would prompt questions over Wendy and Marv's "relationship", another reason I chose that particular Rockwell.

Just so people don't think they were actually "Super Siblings," but rather "Super Friends," with benefits.

As usual a very high quality scene enhanced by your own personal modeling touches [although the white edges on Jayna and the curtain suggest that perhaps you saved the initial images as jpegs rather than pngs..a minor nit but it does tend to take away from the realism of the image].
Kudos on reproducing a classic Rockwell piece eventhough the position of his hand makes me wonder just what type of relationship Marvin and Wendy do have (i always thought they were brother and sister)maybe Wanda and Pietro arent the only extremely close siblings .
As for your choice I too was an avid Super Friends fan but of course by this time I already knew them from the comics.

The Eagle is DAZ's Eagle 2. I've used it several times in my renders in that very similar pose. Most notably in my Bird Watching/Bird's of Paradise series :

I used photoshop in that one to change his color and add a necklace...

For this image, I rendered the her separately from the group so I could put her outside the window, then touched her up with a few photoshopped moon highlights.

The room was just too crowded with her inside...

I like this a lot! An unexpectedly sweet and sentimental view on the old show... great setup (I especially love Wendy's pose) and a terrific job on all characters and very thoughtful and well layed out scene. Excellent!

I like this, it made me smile I had to look up wendy and Marvin, I thought they had a blood relation like the wonder twins.

First off...I watched A LOT of cartoon shows growing up.Mostly SATURDAY MORNING stuff like GI Joe, Looney Tunes, Underdog, Hong Kong Phooey, Blue Falcon and Dynomutt..just to name a few. All had unique art styles, and all influenced me to want to part of comic/cartoon art somehow.

The Super Friends were of particular influence as they not only incorporated a multitude of heroes over the years, but also added little life lessons now and again.

As seen in the background, the books reference a couple of these. Namely, Superfriends Magic Theater, which taught various simple so-called "magic" tricks...and the "health" segment, in which one could learn interesting healthy factoids. The most prominent in my mind being the hilarious one where Batman and Robin teach the Heimlich Maneuver. And though it always draws a laugh, I've actually had to use it twice in my days to actually save the lives of two people who were choking. Anyway...long story shorter, this show influenced my art nearly as much as Norman Rockwell...thus the SATURDAY EVENING POST cover tribute of this image with Wendy, Marvin and Wonder Dog.

PS, the original image I was going to submit was the take off of the shows opening screen as seen on the TV. But I liked this concept better.
