This is Goldstar, a rather obscure character from DC Comics. She used to pal around with Booster Gold.  This is the costume she was wearing in the 1987 issue of DC Who's Who that I have. I don't know much about what this character is up to now, if anything.  I don't believe her powers would allow her to survive in space, but i thought the background looked nice, so yeah.  I'm not exactly happy with the star on her chest, but I do think I am improving...

Good job! Obscure character, you're not kidding,I got every issue of Booster Gold & I don't remember this person but that was so long ago?

The stars are difficult to shape right, but if everythig were easy...

thanks winterhawk. actually, i took a star shape i found on the web and attempted to displace it onto her costume. i didn't want it to look like it was just floating there...

I remember this character, she was not used very much, just two or three issue of the old booster gold solo series. Good job, when drawing things like stars remember the line tool & pen tool are your friend. I use them all the time.

I think her powers enable her make really crappy but inexpensive televisions and VCR's.

hahaha, gleek would be a great idea! i'm endeavoring to do mostly obscure characters, though i do intend to post my share of wonder womans and supergirls as well.
