It's been over a year since I last worked on, let alone posted a manipulation. Slowly getting back into the swing of things but still need to get the rust out of the hinges.
To kick off my return to the art, I decided to do a Wonder Girl (Cassie) in the old style uniform. I chose Amy McCarthy as the model. Still a few things that I'm not 100% happy with (Like the draping of the cloth and creasing) but I think it's a start.

Any technique tips would be appreciated.

**UPDATE**
I took some of the suggestions and added a touch of black to the pants to show a little more definition. Still not perfect, but with the pants and shirt I was going for a very shiny (almost lycra) type look. I also added some wristlets.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions, feedback and compliments. I think I'm done tinkering with this one (not enough attention span) and will keep the suggestions in mind on the next.

Allright Master! That's already looking better.

Jr. was right. You've always gotta pay attention to the crotch. (Hey, I waited for someone else to say it.)

Try using some burn to balance out the highlights and add a little more definition.

Oh this is going to sound funny...
You need to work on her crotch. (see... funny)
It needs more detail so that you can really tell that she is wearing pants. You can either burn it more, or simply hand paint in some much darker lines.

Besides that... it looks pretty good! Welcome back.

Now that those two are done...
I think this is a pretty good job. The logo on her chest needs to rotate clockwise. (Logos are tough.) The pants need some more black, detail black.

Still, Good Job!

I really like this. You're on your way with the shading and highlights. A little serious dodging and burning around the logo and belt on a very small brush setting will really make things pop. Play around with it until it looks and feels right.
Way to go!
Is it possible that the model is actually "Jenny" McCarthy?
