I was working on Jono as part of my ongoing Generation X photomanip (it's coming, slowly but surely), when I realised that this pic of Jono kinda worked by itself as a standalone image. So like the other manip I did of Monet, I stripped this out and set it up as its own image. Pretty pleased with the end result. His bio-nuclear psionic biokinetic field was almost as much of a bitch to manip as it is to spell.

I used James Marsters as a Jono's 'actor'.

Great pic, as usual. And good casting. marsters has certainly got the accent down, plus he's just a great actor.

Gotta say though, and here I disagree with the rest, that the flames (yeah, that's easier bio-nuclear, uh, whatever it is) are lacking something. The ones in his chest look great, but those in the background are kind of, I dunno, scribbly and not very bright. Just putting it in screen mode (or something similar) would've made a hell of a difference. It doesn't pop out at me as much as it could. Plus I think there should be more of a glow around it. That is, it should show up more on the character.

Also, the bottom edge of his jaw has an outline under it. I think that area could've been blended a bit better.

Don't get me wrong, this is a really good pic, and I like it... I just think it could be better. I gotta say what I see, man...

Damn, was hoping no-one would notice I flipped the figure around for this pic. He just looked better facing that way. ;)

Very good attention to detail. Having done a cover Manip, I now know what to look for.
