I duplicated two layers and erased every other "scale" on the top layer,
then applied Eye-Candy's carve filter to the top layer, when combined
with opticals metal tutorial I came across this happy accident. I thought
that it looked cool enough that I cleaned it up a little and decided to
post it.

I would really like to experiment further, particularly in adding reflections
if anybody knows of any tutorials along this direction (I.E. objects not text).

Any other links to metal tutorials would be greatly appreciated, as would be
