Haven't posted a pic in awhile...
This pic was an exercise in spandex, inspired by the spandex queen MisVee. Body by DAZ, some elements of real spandex franked, some flat grey layers with film-grain added and selectively erased, dodge, burn and paint....
(damnit... she made it look easy!)
I have a lot to learn so rest assured, next time I see a woman in spandex I will study her very closely. |

Here we have some of the girls from Legion of Super-Heroes crashing the bad guys lair.
OK, left to right: Dream girl by DarqueImages, Umbra by Mystic Morgan, Lightning Lass by brick, Laurel Kent by Kyler and Inferno by brick.
Many thanks to the whole crew and a extra shout out to Mystic Morgan for extra effort in bringing the picture together! |

Here we have a probably well known picture of Claudia Schiffer doing a turn as Tigra. For the most part I used the dreaded cut and paste method of frankenstiening, then a fair share of liquifying, smudging, color correction and painting (I'm learning to paint!).

| HM-C2F Crossover by Dperceful & Brick

I had a great time with this crossover! Dan and I fell into the look and feel we wanted immediately. First we toyed with a vs. feel, it quickly gave way to the same look and feel, with the mood directed at the viewer and the hero's standing together as a team. I guess that pretty much sums up how the whole project went together. It was a truly collaborative effort, one I would mind doing again.

Brick Original Characters 2004/7/11 18:37

For the April manip challange (If a few more people play we can make it official).
My original character... Overly optimized for the web (68kb) but I think the end result was interesting.
This is a character that heromorphed from its original inception (way) back in the day when I was enamored with the pseudo-science of the 'official handbooks'. Please read the first post for the full effect and let me know what you think.
I'm not entirely happy with her moniker, but its better than the original. I guess she morphed into working class Thor.
I had fun reliving/revamping the ol' orig. character phase. Thanks again.

I tried my best to eke out a decent picture despite the low rez base(s). This puppy weighs in at a whopping 60 kb. Do you think it works?
<edit> Oh yeah... Max still has not given me my fancy new logo yet, so standard text message was applied.

Sorry about the size.

It's my first (read 2nd) time playing with photoshop as I was weaned on livepix (the majority of this is livepix).
For the most part this is unfinished because I originaly set out to cover her in fur, but it just was not working. I might try again when I've have more practice with fur (thank you photoshop).
I went back to earlier drafts and realized that I just couldnt cover up such a beautifull woman. There is a lot of details I would change, but what the heck... Stick a fork in her she's done.
Thanks for the inspiration... I just might learn something.
