Re: colossus II first off, love the metal. it's smooth and it has a great look and feel to it. i like the way it shines and it has life to it. a much better metal process than the bazillion blurred noise metal techniques out there. just going to shoot some other ideas and thoughts on the image, take them how you will.
the metal is beautiful, however the division lines are a little pixelly....just smooth them down. they (the lines) countour nicely.
i like the bands (wrists, belt) but the trunks look like an afterthought. maybe throw on a "X" logo or something.
the pose, well, to me at the angle he is at...it gives the appearance of a beer belly. it's the pose, nothing you did...maybe some post ab work would help that.
i know it's a homework piece....just throwing stuff out there for any future attempts at the big man. great work....love that metal....can't wait to see it in use again.
