Wow, hard to believe my last submitted photomanip was in 2005. Life just snowballs sometimes and I have a load of unfinished manips which'll probably never see the light of day. To get me back into things I decided to do a quick photomanip of Tigra (although quick is a relative term in my case) for no real reason other than I saw a pic I thought was  suitable. I barely know the character beyond her Civil War appearances, so if I've missed some important detail off this piece of cheesecake, I apologize.

The model used is Sabrina Rojas.

As I understand it, Fur is the hardest thing to Manip. This came out great, Ang, and thanks for the Model Name.

10 from me.

If you had an infinite number of monkeys and an infinite number of typewriters you still would not reach the end of the bad puns this image inspires. Great Job!

Beautiful job, Angelophile! I love her fur, fangs, and eyes but I would have given her a bigger 'mane' of hair. P.S. Nice tail!

I would like to know more about how this was done.

A mix of effects. I did a basic colour burn to get the orange hue to her skin, then selected individual areas and used Eye Candy's fur tool to give texture. Once I'd done that I again selected small sections and used the Xenofex texture tool to do the tiger stripes, knocked that back and used the same effect on the hand drawn tail. Then lots of color burning, layering over actual fur textures taken from photographs of tigers and playing with hue in certain areas.

Basically the fur tool is a good start to get the basic effect, but I do a lot of work on top of that to tone it down and make the effect look more realistic (hopefully).
