Re: Spider-Woman NIce Frank Job. The gloves could use a little work, and IMO the bottom edge of her top is turing the wrong direction. Does that make sense? But it is still a real good image!!!

Re: Spider-Woman Thanks. I guess I just never thought of that. I just figured that I would have to "Simulate" all the apparel. Thanks for the tip. Who would've figured that something so beautiful could come from "stealing."

Re: Spider-Woman I don't suppose a tutorial is really needed, honestly. It's not so much "mimicing" the textures as opposed to manipulating them. What I do is a find a nice large hi res pic of the fabric that I want and I steal pieces from it. Sometimes I put together a bunch of little squares copied from the fabric and just create something new with it, using the shadows and highlights from the original picture where ever they need to be on whatever article of clothing I'm creating...or I just take a full article of clothing and slap it on a body, with a few alterations to make it "fit". It's just a trick. *L*
For this one? The shirt I made from rearranging a leather jacket I found online (I took all of my pieces from those great zoomed in shots showing off details on the garment). The belt and bottom of the shirt I pieced together from a yellow patent leather purse, the pants I completely took from another picture with only minor alterations for size and smoothing (I had to blow it up from a rather small picture, so it was pixelated), and the gloves I painted from scratch.
I would've done the mask, but it gave me such trouble that I decided to leave it for later, if I get the inspiration to work on it some more.
So you see, I'm just a form of magician! I wish I were talented enough to create textures that look real, but I'm not, so I borrow them from other pictures. *L*
