OK, so I finally found the contest area and found the Mission Impossible contest.  No this is not an entry - it's been done for quite awhile.  I've just been enamored with all the extreme makeover movies on YouTube and thought this might be fun.

And just so you know I didn't frankenstein a single part of this image.  It's all Layers, Liquify and creative color adjustment via curves and the Dodge/Burn tool.

Sorry to mess with your sense of reality adj.

The trick is to have a separate layer with just the face information and use the liquify tool to make the subtle changes to the facial structure. That's how I thinned up the face and moved the brow ridge to make her look more asian.

After that you can go to town with the smudge tool to even out the skin tones.

The finishing touches are done with the dodge and burn tools. ex. brightening up the eye lids to "move" the eyes forward. Redefining the eyelashes. Lustering up the lips.

Worth1000.com has some brilliant examples in their Racial Profiling contests.

Check out this video to see how you can maniplate someone's body with the liquify tool.

First comment here and I've been here awhile. Although very nice photoshop work. I will have to point out that there is no way it is the same face from one body to the next. I just wont believe it. I've worked with photoshop for many many years. Now, Im not saying the rest is bad. It is actually preotty good. But when doing something like that project there. You are suppose to see the similarities (sp.) between the two. Not two totally different ladies in the same costume.

Beautiful work QFX! Lots of cool improvements. I particularly like how you altered her coloring to a more Asian tone along with the facial features.
