Re: collosus thank you for the offer winterhawk. let me think about it....it's that whole C2F loyalty thing. i decided to post the collosus image here to promote the tutorial at C2F...while i did not post the image at C2F other than in the tutorial.
i'll let you know....maybe i'll write a heromorph exclusive tutorial to make it up to you guys.

Re: collosus honestly this is a 30 minute manip. i always harp on artists about quality time on manips, and here i am whipping this thing up. i honestly did it as a test to the tutorial, and i had been wanting to get that tutorial done and posted for the artists that requested it.
i plan to revisit collosus in a later manip....so he will be getting some more attention later. i really like the effect on this one. it doesn't look like any collosus manip out there.....and that's what i like about it the most. i tend to look at power displays as....if you show me someone's flesh that transforms to metal in real life...then i know what to shoot for...until then i make the power recognizable to that iconic character, but maybe i tweak it a little.
again, thanks for the kind words.

Re: collosus excellent, it looks to me that it's his muscle tissue that is metal more than his skin, still, very well done.

Re: collosus Hmmm... The metal looks a little blurry, but your technique looks interesting. I'll have to check out your tutorial for when I finally make good on my threat to do all of the Metal Men.
