Re: HM/C2F Crossover: Prelude Days Future Past by Bill Tu... This picture is one of the first time in Years that the sentinels have felt overwhellming and terrifying! Bravo! I love Cyke's reflected blast and I love Lockeheed. Although Colossus isn't long for this world and Poor Bat-person got owned not even in his/her own universe. Only one Unrealistic flaw, Proposing that someone would be insane enough to throw away a feedback comic! I don't care if Galactus is about to eat ya, I could never see anyone in their right mind part with such a marvel!

Re: HM/C2F Crossover: Prelude Days Future Past by Bill Tu... Quote: I have had a Venti Mocha Frappechino (no whip) every morning for 3 years That's almost mine, but I take the plain old coffee frap. Double blended, no whip. When I walk into the Starbucks everyone yells "Norm" (haven't figured that one out yet, cause my name's not Norm). Anyway, they start making my drink before I even say anything. At this point I don't think I could change to something else. I never have the chance...

Re: HM/C2F Crossover: Prelude Days Future Past by Bill Tu... I'm sorry to hear you are an addict. I hope you're talking about Starbucks. I have had a Venti Mocha Frappechino (no whip) every morning for 3 years. We're talking $1,500 per year. The first post on this thread from Dark Wanderer has a link to an almost full sized version. The beast hand is under the Sentinel with the searchlite somewhere. Antman is in the sewer grate. I'm glad everyone appreciates the work involved in this and the easter eggs.

Re: HM/C2F Crossover: Prelude Days Future Past by Bill Tu... I am enjoying looking for little details. Still haven't found the Beast hand, but I love the Dharma logo on the box, the MMMS sticker on the dumpster (I actually still have one of those), the "Die Muties" grafitti, the Senator Kelly billboard, and if I'm not mistaken there are at least two Starbucks references (I'm an addict).
Awesome work!

Re: HM/C2F Crossover: Prelude Days Future Past by Bill Tu... What can I say that could be new? I know: I love that little pigeon sitting on that roof on the right side of the pic.
Excellent! That's how we should make a scene. First: you create a focus point (Cyclops). Second: you start distributing lights and shadows to guide the eyes through the remaining areas of the image. So, "contrast" is the magic word.

Re: HM/C2F Crossover: Prelude Days Future Past That's me in the dumpster and Dark Wanderer looking out the window. DW was fun to work with too. The entire scene background was assembled from Google picture search.I wanted the foreground to be a scene all by itself but with the image so big I could have another battle going on that would look just as cool. I originally had a wood fence and in an earlier incarnation had Wolverine getting blasted throught the fence with nothing left but the skeleton and flying meat. I was going to have Kitty Pryde running through the brick wall on the left. There is a dead beast hand in the rubble but you'll have to look real hard.

Re: HM/C2F Crossover: Prelude Days Future Past Dark Wanderer - Bill was a great person to work with. I had a few issues in life that needed to take me away from this. I used the freak base and altered it and did my trade mark metal work and made the clothign on Colossus and did the metal work on Cyclops. Bill - We started off with an idea to do a sentinel and a few X-Men in a continuation of the one that Mystic Morgan and I did for the crossover a few years ago. I was going to make the distant background outof DVD captures from T2 and then we were going to make the foreground in Daz usng the Dark Alley add-on. I ended up making the wall on the left and right out of a brick texture and wood board texture I found on a texture site. I made some poser poses of each of the characters a positioned them around. I changed everything so much DW couldn?t start on anything. He did some work on Cyclops and I changed his pose. I?m sure that didn?t make him happy but he didn?t complain. I decided not to use the T2 stuff and made everything out of bricks, rubble, cinder blocks and things I found on Google. The buildings in the background were small sized so I blew them up and dodged and burned bricks on them. Then I added the field of rubble on God knows how many layers and took particular care in have the brick size in scale with the where they were in relation to the alley and the far building and the remnant of the building that Wolverine and Kitty Pryde are behind. I sent this to a few people, Zac, Android and Juvenile Mike and they, along with my partner gave me some suggestions. Android gave me the suggestion to make the alley red with the beam. I probably would have just dodged the hell out of it but I think his suggestion made it look way better than it would have. Easter eggs everywhere.
