Well I did a version of this pose early with his blue & red togs, and I always like the black costume  . . . so I re-inked the original pose and put him in a setting where he's headin' home after a long night of cruisin' the city for muggers 'n' shit . . . . .

Hey thanx for the props! Yeah I always liked this costume, made me sick when they did away with him usin' it, I wish they'd at least bring it back in a red & blue version of it, (Kinda like Spidey 2099 even though that was supposed to be Black & red, but you get the idea)I think that'd make the geeks like me happy while keeping the traditional colors, ya know?

As far as the medium I inked it first then scanned it and colored it up in Photoshop CS2.

great stuff love it, I've always prefered the black costume it made more sense from a spider-man point of view cause i havent sence many red and blue spiders!
Guess with the movie coming out marvel will plug it more (back in black anyone!)
Just a technical question what programs did you use?
