| Shadawar AKA Shadow, Is Obsidian's First Mate (Formerly First Officer) and is an accomplished Psi-Mage. Generally people tend to find him rather serious but those who know him well know that he indeed has a wonderful sense of humor and a strong sense of loyalty. Shadow is a Lunari and as such is a canine Feraloid though he takes great exception to being called a "Dog" as much as a human might take exception at being called a "Monkey". Shadow is a former Commander of the Sathari Empire and served under the rule of Emperor Zakhan. His career was quite illustrious and he has been awarded all but the Empire's highest award. he is a skilled combatant having learned the full tier of Psi-Blade skills known to date. His magicall talents are exceptional as well as his "Mana" pool is quite high allowing him greater access to his vast repertoire of spells. Shadow rarely taps his repertoire spells except in the most dire of circumstances having once caused himself massive spell fatigue so great that it nearly killed him. On a more personal note Shadow has not bonded with a single member of his species, mostly because there are few Lunari in Sathari space. As such he finds himself attracted to humanoid aliens more than Feraloids although there is a strong Taboo about intermixing species in such a way and most such couples are ostracized wherever they may find themselves. OIffspring from such unions is almost never viable and even if successful such beings often suffer from serious mutations and are almost always infertile. For those reasons and the simple fact that he is actually quite shy, Shadow has not approached Sabrina Wildman romantically. Shadow is oblivious to the fact that Sabrina shares his feelings despite the fact that she regularly throws herself at him flirting incessantly always to her own consternation. Sabrina hopes that he will return her affection s and believes "Taboos be damned, the heart wants what it wants." and her heart wants him. |

Biography:
While hunting Lote's adopted sister Ai, attacked interlopers she believed threatened her tribe. Although at first her attack seemed successful Obsidian quickly recovered from her initial onslaught and defeated her without causing any serious injury. Having defeated her in single combat and demonstrating mercy and the power to destroy her she was bound to serve him as his slave. Obsidian did not fully understand this and forced her to take him to her tribe where several crewmen from the ship he was sent to rescue, were being held captive. In a negotiation for their release Obsidian performed several tasks to gain the tribe's favor and thus rescued the survivors of the Kryllian warship Kaznarr. In celebration of his success the tribe's Chief Zantar, believing Obsidian to be a god, arranges a feast during which Obsidian becomes unwittingly married to not just Ai, but her three sisters as well. Lote' is not entirely happy with her marriage as she prefers women. Additionally, Lote' while physically capable of bearing children is still technically a child herself by elven standards as elven girls are not considered adults until they reach 60 years of age. Secretly Lote' adores Aini who she understands will NEVER return her affections. despite that the two have shared a few intimate moments as Aini believes it necessary to keep her Master's family happy. As an empath, Aini can read Lote' well and has maintained a good relationship with as both mentor and lover. Lote' has not yet mated with her husband...as Obsidian respects elven tradition enough that he is willing to wait and secretly Lote' fears the day she will have to consummate their marriage, and the though of of bearing children is at this time repulsive to her. Currently Lote' while still young, is considered a very competent Doctor (courtesy of the Golden Star Empire's training), and is a very skilled surgeon. This fact was apparent in her mental profile by the GSE who determined she would predisposed to being in the medical field...they were absolutely on the money and Lote' truly enjoys being CMO (Chief medical officer) aboard the Pahntasm. |

"I loved my wife Danielle with all my heart till the day she died. She was a Solaran I always fall for mortal women my friends say it has something to with the brightest flame burning the shortest length. Indeed Solarans burn brightly in that they are so very passionate and often adventurous. Danielle was no exception. We met when she was already 127 years old (still young by Solaran standards). My ship, the S.S. Runt encountered a cruise ship that was under attack by space pirates, and she was it's Captain. The Runt came to the rescue and once the ensuing chaos settled, I went to speak with the Captain... it was love at first sight. A couple of months later we were walking down the aisle in marital bliss. I had found a contentment and true peace I didn't even know I was missing. I was so happy being with my family that I even hung up my armor for a while to be a husband and father. However, as each decade passed I could see time taking its inevitable toll on her physically. It is a hard thing to watch the ones you love wither away while you are powerless to do anything about it. I begged her to undergo the same spell that made me immortal, but she wouldn’t have it, and it became the source of a lot of conflict between us for a very long time. In the end, I conceded the point and pretended to be content to let it be putting her wishes above my own selfishness no matter how much it hurt. On her deathbed, she said that she had no regrets and that her life had been full and complete. With a forced, tear-filled, smile I kissed her gently one last time, and then she was gone." Danielle Simmons was a normal Solaran with no particular adventuring skills, born the only child (due to medical reasons) to Mary and Kevin Simmons, the family moved a lot when Danielle was young until finally they settled in the beautiful beach town Palm Springs. Her father was a Colonel in the IGFW Marines and the constant reassignments and promotions made it difficult for her to form lasting relationships and make many close friends. After he retired, the family settled in and Danielle could finally live a normal life with normal problems. Every day Danielle would see giant cruise ships roll in and out from the beach and would daydream about what life aboard one of those luxurious ships would be like. She vowed one day to Captain one of those luxurious ships among the stars. When Danielle was but a child she was given a necklace by her grandmother who told her it could bring her great fortune so long as she kept it close. She kept it with her at all times thereafter and though there was once an adventurer who asked about it nothing ever came of it. Her son now owns the necklace after his mother willed it to him. A short time later Danielle discovered quite by accident that her grandmother was, in fact, a very powerful Mage, a fact Grandma hid quite well from Danielle's mother. Her grandmother would often brew potions and Danielle would help. Before her Grandmother passed away she imbued upon Danielle a bit of magic that would stay with her for the rest of her life making her quite lucky though she never abused her blessing. (Danielle always received the best result from randomly determined events) When she was a young teen she found an item of powerful magic, one which had been sought by the IFGW who would eventually contact her to retrieve it and incidentally help her come one step closer to becoming a Captain. Only a short time later both of Danielle's parents were killed but the entire incident was covered up to avoid an intergalactic incident making her very untrusting of the government and its officials from that point on. Eventually, she would strike out on her own attending college to further her goal of captaining her own ship, and despite being an excellent student she went practically unnoticed by her peers never really making any real friends.
Special Note: This is the first appearance of Danielle in an visual medium, she was originally just going to be backstory filler...but became an integral part of Obsidian's story and needed her own place in my universe.

Infinity man can perceive events lasting less than a 1/1000 Femtosecond.
Kinetic support: And item held by Infinity-Man recieves the benefit of being supported on it's entire bottom surface allowing Infinity-Man to carry objects that would otherwise fall to pieces or break off. This power acts reflexively and though it does require some concentration.
Energy emission ALL FORMS: Infinity-Man can emit any form of energy he chooses although he must have firsthand knowledge of a given type of energy before he can use it. Because of this limitation he is constantly growing and learning.
Superspeed (Land/Water) Infinity-Man is nearly as fast as the "Warp Speed Runner- Thunderbolt" and as such can traverse an earth sized planet in seconds. Unlike Thunderbolt however, Infinity-Man has no ability to become intangible or vibrate through objects and thus must circumnavigate obstacles in his path.
Superspeed (Flight) Infinity-Man is capable of unassisted sub-light speeds reaching .99 of Light speed and is also capable of making pinpoint turns. However, as stated previously, he must circumnavigate obstacles to avoid damaging them or himself.
Invulnerability Cat 2: Many beings are invulnerable to damage by mortal means but Infinity-Man is also invulnerable to Magic spells, weapons and magical effects.
Form-Shift: Infinity-Man's appearance is Illusory, that is to say he can alter his appearance at will and no power known to mortals can penetrate the facade. In this way even when injured he can appear to be undamaged if he so chooses. This ability requires no concentration and can be maintained indefinitely.
Infinity-Man is the result of all of the gods of light coming together to create a scion from their unified powers. There were several attempts using different vessels but power corrupts and the kind of power he possesses corrupts absolutely. Because of the corruptive nature of their divine might the decision was finally made to place their faith in a machine rather than a living being. The template was created thus: The skeleton and regenerative infrastructure would be constructed of pure Infinitium, and all the components would be of the highest quality with no enchantments whatsoever. The Gods themselves agreed unanimously to NEVER interfere in the android's development so as not to even be accidentally tempted to pursue any agendas. Any intervention in events that directly concern their creation are simply not allowed under strict penalty. The Black Mantis is rumored to have contributed to Infinity-Man's creation providing the infinitium used for his skeleton.
Infinity-Man was purchased as any normal android would be with the sole exception of his buyer being the famed hero Panterra. Through him Infinity-Man has learned self sacrifice, humility, honesty, loyalty and many other heroic traits. Much to the relief of his creators.
It was Infinity-Man who, at the end of the Millennium Wars singlehandedly decimated a full half of the Sathari fleet in a single attack. The powers that he weilds know no upper limit and if he should ever turn against the people of the 5 galaxies he would be nigh unstoppable for few are those who can match his full might. |

Shadawar was assigned to Obsidian Mask as a bodyguard (All former Sathari heads of state are) and was actually hand-picked by the emperor himself and sent with orders assigning him as person guard "...or in whatever capacity you deem necessary.". Shadawar was immediately reassigned by Obsidian to the position of "First Officer" a position that coincided with his responsibilities to "Maintain the safety of the Captain." Shadawar has since retired from duty choosing to remain as "First Officer" rather then extend his service time. Shadawar prefers to be addressed by his friends as "Shadow" and is considered very likeable. As Lunari go, he is out of place in the Sathari Empire since Lunari 4 is located well within the Milky-Way Galaxy and it is unknown as to how he came to be in service to the Sathari Empire. Shadawar has no offspring (another rarity for a Lunari of his age), and has no plans to become a parent at this time he does, however, bear great affection towards Chief Engineer Sabrina Wildman and is aware of the Taboo of relationships between Humanoids and Feraloid, especially those of canine descent. He is unaware that Sabrina shares his affection and it makes things awkward, almost comically so. |

| In the days during the war Obsidian mask was part of a 4 man surgical strike team. Their mission: Go behind enemy lines and commit acts of sabotage, Surveillance, Extract/Eliminate high priority targets. From Left to right 1st Lt Gwenda (Frost elf silent weapons expert), 2nd lt Nealson LtJG (SEAL), Cmdr T'ura (Demolitions Obsidian Mask), Cpt H'zarrik (Sniper). Only a couple of team member may still be living based solely on species longevity. Together they conducted 125 missions and earned multiple citations and medals. They also saved billions of lives and though the war has been over for nearly a century their files are still sealed. |

| This is my latest entry into the Universe of Obsidian Mask...I'm not sure where this is going at this point but I have some great ideas along the way...there'll be some character development, a deeper look into his relationships, as well as a better look at the less advanced worlds in Obsidian's universe. Action, adventure, and swashbuckling await...yes I said swashbuckling...(you'll see later I promise only a couple of Princess Bride nods/jokes)...anyhow..I have some assets in my inventory that I thought was about time folks got to see...BTW you may want to ask early about how I got a "Lorenzo Lorez" to wear such nice outfits. | It is rare that I make scenery images. I'm usually buried in characters and what not, but every now and then I reach a point where I make significant breakthroughs. Breakthroughs which take my artistic ability to the next level...this image is one such breakthrough as I couldn't myself, tell where the 3d ended and the backdrop began. Hopefully you won't either as the techniques I am now perfecting take my comics and my art in general to a whole new level of quality...the changes have been so few but they are significant. This forest is a perfect example. I hope you like it as much I do and enjoy looking at it as much as I enjoyed creating it |

| For those of you who have NOT been paying attention, Obsidian Mask recently killed the God Apophis and thus acquired his responsibilities and powers. The scene you are looking at is a meeting between Obsidian (as the god of Evil) and an elder God. The forgotten ones, the old ones, they have many names are often thought to be powerful demons but they are Elders of the Universe and possesses far more power than some mere god. Fortunately Obsidian is no MERE anything. In this meeting he is being tasked to gather what allies he can and defend his universe in a battle of the multiverse...the winner of this contest...gets to LIVE. Surely we will be seeing the most formidable of beings when this occurs but will Obsidian be able to save his own universe and will he do it at the cost of countless others? This story coming soon. BTW those are little humans at his feet...being supersized is sort of a god thing. |
