| When one is immortal it stands to reason that one might bear offspring. This is true of even the mightiest of beings. Even the gods sire offspring...it is also true of the Black Mantis. The self proclaimed "Multiverse's Greatest Assassin" has sired many children over 10 millenniums the oldest of which is Moonshadow. A top assassin in her own right she was trained by her father and highly skilled in both the martial and magical arts. Well educated she has the equivalent of at least six PhD's in the realm of Physics, Temporal Mechanics, Genetics, Cybernetics, Computer engineering, and Theoretical physics. She is also well versed in chemistry, and biological engineering. And holds 2 Masters degrees in Archaic science. One for Practical application and one for Arcane Theory. Moonshadow is no idiot nor is she a love struck teenager. In fact at over 9,550 years of age one would hardly call her inexperienced or naive. She does not get involved in her father's afairs and does not normally interfere with the lives of mortals in general. Her interest in Obsidian stems from pure sympathy. She sees him as a other sees a wayward child and at this point a child in pain. Her personality is not well suited to being a matriarch and at her age she sees no distinction between 25 years old and 500 years old both are like children, and both are adults. After his dealings with The Black Mantis Obsidian will of course be incredibly suspicious of her intentions and it will no doubt lead to some explaining on her part. |

A fantasy genre character I call Moon Tracker. Reputedly she can track a mouse 3 days after a snowfall and put an arrow through a quarter sized coin at 100 meters. Who knows? Even myths have some foundation though.
Image uses Vicky 4, Ranger morph and outfit (seemed appropriate), using Tawhak character. Lighting uses Light Dome Pro. Post work (snow build up around feet, breath condensation, tracks) done in PaintShop Pro.

First issue cover. Synopsis: While following a lead to an underground Vegas drug connection (the town is only referred to as Vegas, never Las Vegas) Miss V uncovers the secret lair of The Queen-of-Nice, an arms smuggler for the trade, and the first in a series of super villains. The origins of Miss V are also introduced in back story sequences.
The artwork took me much longer to compose than usual. I initially held an image in my mind that was not in its entirety. It had to be fleshed out, though piecemeal, on paper and in PS. Special thanks to Mr. Android and his wonderful artistic sensibilities for helping me get past a few creative blocks, and Mr. MC and his expertise with firearms. |

| Mighty Moose...I wouldn't even know where to begin with this guy. An amnesiac with a touch of IDGAF He woke up one day with that stupid hat his only clue to his identity. While his actions are mostly heroic don't press the crazy button or you're likely to get shot. been a while since I played this character in Heroes Unlimited, so this is a fresh updated look of what I envisioned when I created him. He will live on in my universe, like all mortals in my universe he will be subject to age and eventually retirement and/or death. Wondering what sets my universe apart from DC and Marvel that's it...My characters can and will grow old and eventually die to maybe be replaced by another carrying on their legacy. |
