Jayna and her "Wonder Twins" endorsing Wonderbra. Yes, it is a pretty bad pun on the I believe this is the first time I've posted on this site.
Art Notes: All done in Photoshop. The face is Anne Hathaway (the modern actress not Shakespeare's wife) the pose is based on the same picture of Hathaway. The neck is from another picture. Gave her new eyes, eye shadow, eyelashes, eyebrows, lipstick, and hair. Used the Paths tool a whole lot and lots of Dodging and burning. The background (which my girlfriend cleverly describes as looking like a gay rainbow) is based on a SuperFriends advertisement (http://www.shanghaiist.com/attachments/shang_dan/superfriends.jpg) I found on the net.

I decided to double up on some of these older files since they're rather small, and I still seem to have many of them. So for those that have asked for more I hope this will double your pleasure, double your fun. :)
But if not, we can still take a look at the two I selected. Notice how both use the same headshot for entirely different results. (At least, if I remember correctly they are in fact the same.) Next post I'll do just the opposite, I'll use the same model but with different headshots.
That bat top took most of the work as I recall.

...This was mostly a lot of Frankensteining to put Conrad Veidt (from "Casablanca" & "The Man Who Laughs") as the Joker in a poster for an episode of the old Batman & Robin serial adventures.
I saw the picture of Veidt from "Man Who Laughs" and thought... wow... I can see why Bob Kane got the idea for the Joker from that... then I read the challenge...and little wierd wheels started clicking.
(My original idea was to do this as an animated .gif in the style of old movie trailers. But I don't think I could get it done in time) |

Inspired by some of the beautiful art here and aided by some of the tutorials I thought I would take a swing at this.
Hopefully you can tell that that is supposed to be Asuka from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Its my first try at photo-manipulation and I'm pretty happy with it. I think it has that slightly realistic effect, where you have to take a secound glance to see if it is fake or not, which is what I was going for (feel free to differ on this point). It was orginaly a picture of a lustly redheaded female model on a washing machine (which explains the weird pose her right arm is in). The plug suit itsn't 100% accurate either, but it's fairly close. I'm especialy happy with the way the 'plugs' turned out.
Any advice and critisims are very welcome as I would like to improve, but I feel like I have hit a wall in terms of what I can do to improve this image.

| I'm sorry to bring everybody down for a minute, but i have to get this off of my chest...i am so heart sick because of the verdict in the calee anthony trial...no justice for a murdered child. i am so disheartened with the system...i wish i could tell little caylee that she will never be forgotten.I didn't know you sweetheart, but a part of you will always live on in my heart. thank you for letting me get this off my chest, but i have to go hug my kids... |

| I wanted to make another poster with just Glover as the joker. To me he is hands down the best guy for the job. I called it the Killing Joke based off one the comic books. I took a screen cap of the playing card at the end of Batman Begins. This is my joker, I dig it. |

Batman has his hands full. There is a giant robot destroying Gotham. Can he defeat it before it reduces the city to ruins?
This was a fun piece. I was going to post it under the photomanips, but since the background is painted, I put it under comic art instead. It looks like a lithograph painting. I am using the letterbox format for alot of my new images. It gives the work that widescreen effect.
