| Amazing Spiderwoman (May Parker) by Dark Knight Dark_Knight_DK Marvel Comics 2008/2/23 0:08 8873 11
For all the fans of spidergirl (and my costume) here is another spiderwoman.
One of the changes I did to the base pic was a head change, and since the new face I used was a pretty one and the background had some big empty spaces I decided to duplicate the manip and make it bigger, with the difference that now spiderwoman is without her mask. The other change was a simple boob job.
PS: I don't know how she does it to hide her nipples in that costume!!

I was gonna wait until the weekend to post this, but this pic turn out to be better than I expected, that now I can't wait to show you...
Someone here at HM told me to work small and think big, I didn't knew what it ment until I did this...the small details it's the best of this pic, I used a LOT of layers for all them.
The shield and all the gadgets on her wrist were a little difficult to make them look in the right angle.

| Batman by Dark Knight. Dark_Knight_DK DC Comics 2004/8/30 11:18 4530 10
Well, what can I say about this one...mmm... this is my first male superheroe (it's difficult to find good male models), and also it's the firts time I tried to frankenstein a body, the guy in the base pic had a "girly" pose for a batman so I cut the head and I rotated in the right position, I also did the same thing with the body, The painting is the usual, except this time I added a leather texture on the cowl, and a wave texture on the costume, for the belt I used a comic image from Jim Lee's belt, and I repainted it (well it wasn't that easy!).
I found the "batcave" background in the net (**sorry I don't remember the site) and I adjusted the light and shadows to make the cave darker, I also used a color balance layer to add a blue tint on it. The rest of the elements I found them doing a google search (**) and I didn't expect to find all those items, and finally I added a floor. |

Hi everyone!!!... loong time (again)
I kind of cheated on this one... as you can see it's the same base I used for my batgirl in 2004, but from some months ago I wanted to improve that manip, so now 52 gave me the perfect excuse to do that.

Since I lost the source of my inspiration, I only have a few manips that I did in 2011, and I guess it will take some time before I work in new ones, I really hope you enjoy this one. |

| Dark Queen by Dark Knight Dark_Knight_DK Marvel Comics 2013/6/14 17:24 3439 7
This is the other part of my dark phoenix wallpaper. Dark phoenix and the Dark Queen were in the same wallpaper, but I divided it just to look different from the original.
And that's a real corset that I frank from another pic, and I did a little adaptation.
And as you can see I made this in 2011...the last time I maniped, (really the lat time was in 2012 with the halloween contest) |

| Hawk & Dove by Dark Knight Dark_Knight_DK DC Comics 2008/9/6 17:07 9845 28
I like to do manips with no used characters in heromorph, and since I saw the titans east comic by Ian Churchill and the way he made hawk & dove's costumes I decided to do a manip with those characters.
It was really fun to do these characters trying to look like churchill's comic, except for Dove's mask, the girl in the pic is very pretty and I didn't want to hide her face with those white lenses,so I make them transparent.
The only problem I had was Dove's hands,in the original pic she was leaning and holding on a tube, and since I didn't want to do any frankenstein thing, I simple made her look like she was holding the DC and hawk & Dove logo (hope it doesn't look strange).
PS: any character suggestions for my next project?

| Hawkeye by Dark Knight Dark_Knight_DK Marvel Comics 2004/10/18 8:20 6760 7
I know this wasn't one of characters in the challenge, but I wanted to do this one because nobody has tried it.
The most difficult thing was the search for the pic, it took me a complete day in the web to find the right pic, I'll appreciate if you can give me more sites with good quality for the next one. |

| HM/C2F crossover "Mirror Image" by Dark Knight & B Dark_Knight_DK DC Comics 2004/8/8 22:00 6246 12
B's comments:
I started out suggesting doing Batman and Robin for this collaboration (following the vague "teamup" theme suggested by Max and Mike), but I think neither of us wanted to manip a guy... so we ended up doing the same character twice. Sort of. Here's Daniela Petrova as Stephanie Brown (aka Spoiler) and as Stephanie Brown (aka Robin).
I did Spoiler. The costuming was done the usual way, the metal I did using Dan Perceful's new tutorial at C2F, the cape and hood were done from scratch. This is just my second attempt at a cape... I think it's a bit better than the first was. The hood I based on that in a Rembrandt painting of a monk.
This was fun! DK's great to work with, and a damn good artist to boot. I think our ideas for the pic meshed together quite well. Here's to the next crossover!
Dark Knight's comments:
The most difficult part was to smudge the skin of the girl without loosing the details, because we choose a pic with a low quality, other than that It was fun creating the costume, I'm very pleased with the mask, and the background (that lighting effect looks pretty cool!!). And it was great working with B. |

| HM/C2F Crossover: Spidey vs Rhino by Dark Knight and Bill turner Dark_Knight_DK Monthly and other challenges 2005/3/14 13:17 9555 18
Art notes:
Bill Turner: I????????ve wanted to do a Rhino picture ever since I saw Biohaz Daddy????????s Rhino on C2F.???? I sent Dark Knight a copy of the cover of Spider-Man #30 and he agreed on the scene. He selected Spider-Man and I did Rhino. As an homage to Biohaz is used part of his for my Rhino????????s knees. ????I copied and pasted elephant, rhino, and triceratops on top of the Romita drawing from the cover. Most of the background is a screen cap I made from a DVD of the first Spider-man movie. Mary Jane is actually behind the Rhino. I replaced the storefront that was on the right with a picture from Google of a tanning salon. I added the bricks and the awning from Google. The street lamp is a copy and paste of the one further down the street. I recreated the whole scene in low res from behind and added it as a reflection in the window. I put in various posters that Dark Knight and I had done and put them behind the reflection so it would look like they were taped to the glass on the inside. I put the Heromorph logo on the awning and the C2F on the door and our names on the awning so it would look like it was our store. I put a car in front of the store and put a few reflections on it. That is me in the front seat. I cut a jagged hole in the window of the care and darkened it. Then I pasted broken glass from a car wreck picture around the hole. I put the antenna on the car with a Mr. Bill antenna ball. The people on the street are from various action movie scenes. The kneeling people????????s bodies are from True Lies but their heads are from Spider-man. The overturned dark car is from Jurassic Park 2 and the police cars are from Spider-Man 2.???? I made a Daily Bugle rack out of something on Google and I found a Daily Bugle with the headline =???????A Dark Knight for Spider-man???????. Since Dark Knight did Spider-man I thought it was a must to put in the rack window. It may look complicated but it was just a lot of copy and paste and dodge and burn. For a step by step check out this link : http://home.comcast.net/~billpturner/Spidey-vs-rhino-step-by-ste.jpg
Dark Knight: I have to say that Bill is a great artist, I learned a lot of him, he's a perfectionist and you can see it on this pic.
My part in this project was simple, creating spiderman's costume, the front and the reflexion on the window, (and I can say that I'm getting good at doing webs), spidey was created from a pose that Bill sent me. I tried to recreate spiderman's movie costume with some brick texture and some lights in the webs.
I wish I could say more about it, but this action pic it's Bill's creation, and I only enjoy the ride. |

| Marvel Women by Dark Knight Dark_Knight_DK Marvel Comics 2011/1/1 2:23 13002 14
I only post one pic in this year becuase I was working on a set of 4 comissions, I didn't want to post them when they were finished becuase I wanted the person who asked me to maniped them were the only one to enjoy them for awhile.
But here it is a little preview of the 4 characters I did, they were maniped separately for a wallpaper of each character (the original size is bigger than this one)...so I worked this one to put them all together.
PS: maybe later I'll post the 4 originals |

| press conference by Dark Knight Dark_Knight_DK DC Comics 2007/3/23 18:22 8848 22
I found this pic and they have a very very fine rear end, so I have to give it a shot.
This pic is about these great asses so I didn't want the skirt of Mary Marvel blocking her behind so I created her panties from scratch (and belive me it wasn't easy specially the google search), then I really wanted to do I real metal effect on wonder woman and huntress again it wasn't easy (but I'm getting good at it) and finally I wanted to improve my wrinkles techniques on power girl's gloves (I really liked the results)... and their hair was pretty damn difficult to separate.
BTW: actually this pic was suposed to be named kick ass heroines
PS: HEY BB!!... remember that last year I told you that I wanted a new avatar?, and you told me when I finished 4 manips you'll make me one?... I guess this one counts for 4... hehe!! |

I haven't post a manip since last year, and to be honest I haven't done one for awhile.
But last year I did a set of 6 wallpapers for a commission the first 3 is in one manip (Marvel Women click here) and they were edited in one manip. Now instead of doing the same for the three characters left I prefer to show you the character in real size but not the whole wallpaper.
PS: The original wallpaper size was 1920x1200 and have two different poses of the character (one pic showing the front of the character and the last one showing the back)...
Later I'll post the other half of the wallpaper |

| Spider Woman for drawolf25 from Dark_Knight_DK Dark_Knight_DK secret santa 2009/12/28 21:10 5476 9
First of all Merry Christmas Drawolf25!!, I hope you like it.
This is my first and last manip of 2009, (I was following Jr's. example of laziness..lol). Every time I start a project I spend hours looking for the right girl for my manip, and this time I found the right girl but her pose was wrong, so I did use of my little frankensteining skills to twitch the pic (and I twitched it a lot).
The costume is based from spiderwoman's costume in Marvel Utimates Alliance 2 game with some of my very own techniques...(later I will post the before and after).
Enjoy...and Merry Christmas to all Heromorphers!!! |
