Done a while back- on a Manilla sketch book, DD! F*** your lunch bag I tried photoshopping it, just to see if I could clean it up, but it just looked faded, not cleaner. If I have to tell you what the image was originally, you deserve much pain.

Besides, this isn't so much my design, as it is my version of this particular design. Also, I'm rather proud of this one.

The Grand Truth is...Hell is so much more then you know. Would you like to hear this? I think it's an important lesson, this.
Hell is not a place of suffering and brimstone. It is alive. A dimension, an entire universe, living, thinking, HATING. Unknowably large, incomprehensibly old, impossibly chaotic--Hell is what Lovecraft would have written about, if he were completely insane. Hell eats Cthulu for breakfast, and washes it down with some Arwassa for dessert. And a thing so vast and alien and...beyond you, you small, stupid, ape of a creature, could never stoop so low as to actually speak with an insignificant insect like you. And even if it wanted to, your clumsy meat-mind could never comprehend it's omnivorous will. And so, I am. Me, not a demon, not a man, not anything more then an ambassador. A masthead. I am more then the King of All-Damned, girl. I am the very Voice of Hell itself. It is me. I am It. It wills, and I do. I will, and It responds. We are One. The Mind, and the Body, inseparable. I need some honest feedback on this character design
for my webcomic. It's supposed to be the main character's rock star persona, but being the general geek I am, I don't know if it's quite right for what I want. I'm going for more of a punk rocker chick look, rife with studs and tats and everything else your mother warned you about in a girl, that sort of thing. This might be old news to most, I only just heard:
'Parently, Guillermo del Toro's in line to do a movie based on Justice League Dark. Read a few issues, wasn't impressed (not really digging New 52, tbh.) but that might be because I have no idea who any of those people flipping are.
But then I hear the roster to be featured in this movie (called Dark Universe, or Heaven Sent, or something, btw), and now I give a damn. I mean, Etrigan, Constantine (who has to be played by Gordon g'ddamned Sumner or by nobody at all) and Swamp Thing, all in one movie? Why can I not just mail my money to Spain and save del Toro the trouble? |

Get this- had this brilliant idea for an S6 pic, so I drew it up, scanned it, coloured it, and...nothing. Stared at it blankly. For three months.
So I got sick and tired of not doing anything with it, and turned it into this.
I gave Ock more of a "mad scientist" look, and I think Sandman kinda-sorta looks like Thomas Hayden Church, or I could be wrong about that. |
