| Superman & Supergirl-- Liberty Island Jedifan227 DC Comics 2004/12/13 2:21 3617 4
This piece took me most of the night. I started from scratch will just a simple manip of Supergirl. Then I had an idea. I had to find the right base for Superman, in the same angles and pose. Well, I cheated a few things, but I really cant tell what they were now. I found the background very patriotic, and fitting for such a picture as this. I really sunk hard into this one. And as always, comments are appreciated. ENJOY!!! |

| Supergirls! Jedifan227 DC Comics 2007/4/17 23:04 4741 7
Well, this one is one of my hardest I have ever done. I took this HUGE base and made it something I have always wanted to do...TWO SUPERGIRLS! I spent alot of time on this one, so be nice! |

| Supergirls Jedifan227 DC Comics 2004/10/25 21:03 5480 3
I made a quickie wallpaper just for the hell of it, This captures Supergirl in her two different costumes. The red and blue one is slightly modified to my design. Enjoy! |

| Supergirl-New Costume (Full) Jedifan227 DC Comics 2004/10/26 19:19 5256 5
Here's my new costume design in a full body shot. The other was just a preview. Enjoy! |
|
| Supergirl--Elisha Cuthbert Jedifan227 DC Comics 2005/5/21 0:21 6668 5
I have seen the manip someone did where Elisha was Supergirl. This is my version. I found a base of a cheerleader, frankensteined the head, and added the costume. Not my best work, but I think it looks cool. Comments always welcomed. Enjoy!!! |
|
| Supergirl--(White Costume) Pinup Jedifan227 DC Comics 2005/1/7 21:08 6113 5
I rarely do this costume, but I thought I would for my pinup series. I think the model really gives that SG look, with her bright eyes, and childish smile. Also, I loved the pose. It was fun doing this piece. ENJOY! |
|
| Supergirl-- "Dude, Guess What I Saw Today!" Jedifan227 DC Comics 2005/2/2 18:53 3748 6
"Dude!! You will never believe what I saw today. Supergirl swooped down to save an old lady crossing the street. She was about to get creamed by a bus! Then Supergirl just flew away, right next to my car!! I took this picture to prove it!"-- Haha...ENJOY!! |
|
| Supergirl-"Tranquility" Jedifan227 DC Comics 2005/5/9 2:20 4230 8
I havent done a SG manip in a while, and I missed doing them. This one took me longer than any other. I first started with the base and spent extra attention to detail on the costume, adding textures, etc. Then I had to find an aerial shot of clouds that had the right light source. This was not easy, to say the least. Then once they were merged together, I was really shocked at how well it turned out. Unless my eyes are just really tired, I cant tell that this isnt real. Can you? Enjoy!! |

| Supergirl- Sunset Flight -Movie Poster 2 Jedifan227 DC Comics 2006/9/25 14:43 4444 4
This is my second in the movie poster series. Once again, I used the same actress, Elisabeth Harnois, who I think would be perfect for the role. I was inspired by a pic I saw on the net of Superman, done in this way. I really like this and I think its a beautiful image. Enjoy! More to come soon. |
|
| Supergirl- Pinup3 Jedifan227 DC Comics 2005/1/27 13:12 4841 7
I just had to get this one out of my system. It was nice to work with such a large base, however, my pc hates me once again. Enjoy! |

| Supergirl- New Costume Jedifan227 DC Comics 2004/10/25 21:16 4985 6
Here's my newest Supergirl costume. I loved the expression on the models face and just had to do this one. I sketched out the new suit and then tried it. I think it looks pretty good. Enjoy! |

| Supergirl- Movie Poster 4 Jedifan227 DC Comics 2006/11/12 19:17 4197 5
This is the last in the series. Enjoy! |

| Supergirl- Movie Poster Jedifan227 DC Comics 2006/9/17 19:10 4909 4
The new Supergirl movie would be killer if done on a more serious note. The first one, from the 80's was not that bad, had it only been cast with better actors, and had better dialogue. This is my rendition of the new movie poster. And as striking as this girl looks in the shot, I would definetly see this movie. The actress is Elisabeth Harnois. As simple as this pic is, I think it is one of my personal best. I hope you enjoy it. |
|
| Supergirl- Moonlight Dance Jedifan227 DC Comics 2006/8/23 0:01 4045 5
This is my newest SG with the black costume. I had alot of fun with this one because its so big. This was a similar technique used by someone else on another manip. I saw the pic in my head and I just did it. I think it looks cool, and the model, Marketa is just gorgeous. Enjoy! |
|
| Supergirl- Fireworks Jedifan227 DC Comics 2006/4/3 10:38 4673 3
Elisha Cuthbert is Supergirl in this beautiful pic. She flies high into the sky to get a better look at the fireworks over Metropolis.
I liked this one alot. The base was a great size to work with, and the pose and expression just couldnt be ignored. I hope you enjoy! |
|
| Supergirl- Birds Eye View Jedifan227 DC Comics 2004/9/6 22:37 3855 3
I found a pose that worked, then I found a background with the same angles I was going for. A fairly simple project, only taking about 2 hours. Enjoy! |
|
| Supergirl- Back In Black Jedifan227 DC Comics 2006/7/31 22:08 5135 7
This is my new variation on the black costume, which was in the comics sometime back. I blended the Superman Movie costume idea, but applied it to this suit. I like this costume much better than the standard one, so I think I will use it more often. This chick just looks mean as hell, and I wouldnt want to piss her off... |
|
| Supergirl- Anime Alternate Costume 1 Jedifan227 DC Comics 2007/7/30 13:00 7202 7
This is my version of the Anime Costume featured on a maquette that DC Direct has recently issued. I love the look and design of it, and to me, it is definetly Supergirl. The model is Marketta. Enjoy! |
|
| Supergirl- "Mourning" Jedifan227 DC Comics 2007/10/22 13:48 4366 7
I don't really know how this came about. It was the base model's pose I think. She was beautiful, but sad looking, standing there holding what looked to be a black wall. So, the birth of an idea came to me. What if Kara is mourning the loss of Superman? And this is what I came up with. The whole pic took about 3 hours. The statue of Superman came from a sculpture of the Kingdom Come Series. The model came from the web. Anyways, I hope you like it. |
|
| Supergirl- "Dead in the Water"? Jedifan227 DC Comics 2004/4/17 22:34 13488 5
Will she ever make it out alive? Thought this one was a cool concept. Remember the scene in the first Superman movie? Well, I re-created it with Supergirl in distress, dying by the chunk of Kryptonite, hanging around her precious neck. Enjoy!!! |
|
| Supergirl Takes Off!! Jedifan227 DC Comics 2005/1/20 21:18 4059 6
This is a different take on an earlier pic I did a few months ago. This time I had the perfect pose and the perfect background to pull off the angles I was looking for. It was pretty hard, but overall I think it turned out well. ENJOY! |

| Supergirl Pin-up Jedifan227 DC Comics 2004/12/12 0:58 4624 4

| Supergirl Over New York Jedifan227 DC Comics 2004/8/28 2:21 4759 4
Well, I seem to have struck gold with my last piece. Thanks for all the cool comments. This picture shows SG flying high above New York as she is leaving a "friend". She has that "I'll call you later" look on her face. Either that, or..."Thanks for a good time". LOL...Enjoy! |
|
| Supergirl Flying High Jedifan227 DC Comics 2005/12/3 18:26 4963 10
I am pleased with this one. I have not done a SG manip in ages. I think the colors make this pic.
The model is Brooke Banx, and I think she is quite possibly the hottest woman alive. As always, comments welcome. ENJOY! |
|
| Supergirl Flies To The Rescue! Jedifan227 DC Comics 2004/8/26 0:31 6460 10
Well, I have to say this was my hardest manip ever, and probably my personal best. I took the idea from a manip I saw on here, featuring Superman,(I hope nobody minds), and I put my own spin on it. This was 3 seperate images to start, all in large format. The original to this pic is HUGE! I spent hours perfecting Supergirl herself, then working in the plane and the background. The overall theme of the pic is cool, but the final product to me is breathtaking! I would appreciate any and all comments that you might have. Gahhh, I tired!!! ENJOY!!!!! |
|
| Supergirl at Sunset Jedifan227 DC Comics 2004/12/7 16:57 4354 4
I originally posted this to the Boldcomics site, while Heromorph was down. I really liked the way it turned out, although after looking at it a few times since, I probably should have done the original classic costume. Enjoy! |
|
| Supergirl 38 Jedifan227 DC Comics 2004/6/18 18:53 4302 3
I haven't done one of SG in a while, but I missed doing them. She is flying high above the city, posing sweetly for the camera. |
|
| Supergirl 35 Jedifan227 DC Comics 2004/3/7 0:27 5548 3
This is probably my 60th SG manip, and every time I do one, I fall in love all over again. It makes me all warm inside! I played around with more detail this time, I also had a killer base pic size to start which made it a helluvalot easier. Enjoy! |
