| "Fame" - U-Go Girl, Orphan and Doop (Nov Challenge) Angelophile Marvel Comics 2004/11/8 3:15 3613 8
Okay, this is one of the manips I've been working on some time, but the November challenge theme prodded me to finish it off and submit it. Here we have the world's favourite mutants, U-Go Girl (depicted by Jennifer Jason Leigh) and The Orphan (Jude Law) along with Doop (a King Edwards potato) on the cover of Hello! celebrity magazine. Time just seemed too highbrow for them.
Even managed to sneak in Phat, (depicted by Eminem, who else?)
All work was done in Photoshop CS, the costumes Frankensteined as usual from dozens of different sources. Another manip that weighed in at around 120 layers.
I appreciate any comments. |

| Ravage Transformers Movie Concept Angelophile TV and Movies 2005/1/27 13:11 3607 8
Coming from some discussion on the producer's boards for the upcoming live action Transformers movie about what Ravage could transform into now that size-shifting has been ruled out, the idea was hit upon to maybe have the former cassetticons become various types of motorcyles. The idea for Ravage was that he could become an ATV quad bike. So, just to prove it could be done, I did it...
He's my take on the concept. |

| "I'm a Cop!" - Keith Hamilton Cobb as Bishop Angelophile Marvel Comics 2004/3/16 2:02 3548 3
Another old manip, but I figured I hadn't posted in so long I better remind you guys I'm still alive. ;) Suggested by a friend, this is Keith Hamilton Cobb (aka Tyr from Andromeda) as the X-men's Lucas Bishop. Not a bad bit of casting. |

| "Synergy" Angelophile Original Characters 2005/3/18 0:05 3194 7
Well, I haven't done anything for a while and this is a present for a good friend and talented artist, Cybercat. She's posted some art here in the past.
The subject is the character she plays on Denied Destinies Mux and previously X-men End Times mux, Zandra aka 'Synergy', a mutant EM manipulator. The actress she thinks fits her best is Angelina Jolie, so here she is in all her glory.
A fairly quick manip, took about 3 hours, but I kinda like it.

| "Irish" - Kenneth Branagh as Banshee Angelophile Marvel Comics 2005/3/24 0:07 3106 3
As part of my ongoing Generation X group shot, another figure bites the dust - Banshee! Shown here in his Generation X costume. (Okay, I always liked the rather goofy Celtics jacket worn over the uniform. A fairly straightforward manip, with Kenneth Branagh cast as Banshee. Still to come - Emma Frost and Skin, then I'm all done. (Guess I made work for myself by adding Banshee and Emma to the mix, but what the hey.) |

| "Skin Redux" Angelophile Marvel Comics 2005/7/3 11:37 3016 2
I already produced one version of this image here - http://heromorph.com/modules/myalbum/photo.php?lid=3956 but wasn't entirely happy with the way it turned out, so this is the amended version.
It will be going towards the final Generation X team manip, which I'm in the final stages of completing. Perfectionism means I keep going back to change things. ;) |

| "Just Call Me Misty" - Generation Next Angelophile Marvel Comics 2004/7/31 2:57 3002 5
Okay, obscure character time, but I couldn't resist when I saw the base pic as an advert for Game Boy Advanced. Vincente has always been a favorite of mine that was criminally underused. He was in the 4 issues of the Age of Apocalypse based Generation Next, then vanished from the radar. This version has the young Jeremy Irons cast in the role. Dunno why but he seemed to suit.
A real quicky this one, taking an hour or so rather than a month or so that it seems to have taken me recently. ;) |

| "The First to Fall" - Generation X Angelophile Marvel Comics 2005/3/22 0:33 2989 5
Another of the figures I'm working on for a complete Generation X team shot, I felt this one again stood up by it's own merits.
Everett's actor is J. August Richards from the Angel TV show, while the costume combines a few dozen layers of Daredevil, various leather motorcycling gear and protective armor.
The 'rainbow' effect was created using the Gradient Glow and HSB Noise filters in Photoshop Eye Candy. |
