| WonderWoman Stretching outlaw2LK DC Comics 2006/1/3 16:34 5006 10
I just finished this recently (02January06). I went for a poster style image when creating this Manip. I've also taken into consideration and used some hints, suggestions and methods mentioned in posts about my work. Thanks. |

| Supergirl... yet again. outlaw2LK DC Comics 2006/4/5 20:24 5055 10
OK, I'm taking each log in to Heromorph to heart. With each visit I learn something new and try out each style and tip that I've read about. I'm going to try to stay away from trying to manip any other character other than Supergirl. I figure if I can perfect this then I will move on to another.
The difference with this piece is that I had actually taken the time to create it. I'm usually rushing these things and keeping them to 2 hours or less. This particular one took me 2 hours a day for the past 3 days. EEEK!
Please let me know what you think. Good and bad, any critique is helpful. |

I did this piece for a contest using only one shape manipulated in photoshop many many times over and over again. The rules of the contest was to only use the one shape to create a work of art. You can change the color, size, and even warp the shape as long as it was evident that it was used (see the insert). I got second place.
(Should I be submitting all my art in at once? Or should I wait like a day or so to submit new ones?) |

Still keeping up the practice. I've gone with a more classic look (no texturizing) and still keeping up w/ some of the new costume's look.
This one was inspired by another pic of Superman standing atop the Daily Planet Globe. Again the model is Marisa Miller from SI.
I think I'm making some progress here. |

I know I got a little lazy and didn't change the background... but my main focus and inspiration was from the three girls on the "North Shore" poster. I just had fun making them into my 3 favorite DC babes.
Supergirl and Wonder Woman costumes done from scratch. The BatGirl costume was from Birds of Prey and the mask from Batman & Robin.
This is the second attempt at it. The first one I posted on C2F, but decided to change up the metalic look on Wonder Woman.
