| When I began the transition of Unicorn characters from 2D to 3D I've been pretty much keeping those created by Tazman as close to their original design as possible, eventhough I felt a few could use upgrading. However after seeing DW's version of H-Clone I decided to upgrade the one Taz character I always felt needed enhancing...T-Clone. Bear in mind this isn't an actual change for the character just how I feel she should look. |

| The Striped Felinus are simply semi-evolved cat people that still retain approximately 40% of their Animal features. They have a savage mentality but can be tamed and taught rudimentary languages and simple repetitive labor. Many of the feline species have kept them for more nefarious purposes such as sex slaves or just slave labor. In appearance the Striped Felinus resemble many of their cousins (with whom they can create viable, yet mentally limited, offspring) however they long possess sharp claws and fangs which they use to great effectiveness when hunting or defending themselves. To the casual observer the females of their species have short velvety fur and appear quite pretty at least as far as facial features and body shape go. They are incredibly fast runners and usually travel on all fours except when walking. They can climb even the tallest trees with supreme ease. They have no society and are loners with males and females only gathering during mating times. Females may have from 1-4 kittens with a gestation period of 10 weeks. Kittens set out on their own at roughly 11 months at which time they are nearly the size of their parents. Striped Felinus live for about 30 years barring physical misfortunes and illness. They are illegal to keep as pets without an exotic license and the worlds they inhabit in the IGFW territories are guarded against trapping. Captive bred Felinus are expensive but completely legal to own. It is important to note that this species possesses only animal intelligence despite how they might appear and have no deities to which they owe allegiance and so have no form of supernatural protection. Their homeworld of Nageera 6 is a paradise untamed by modern cultures and thanks to the efforts of conservationists has been designated a refuge due to the number of species unique to that world. |

I re wrote this because the original ending of this relationship was too much of a side not and it deserved a proper finale...I hope my fans enjoy.
Only days after Defeating Nechronos Moonshaddow summons me to her palace aboard the massive ship her family calls home, The ship stretches farther than the eye can see some 48 million miles across and half as long,,,and awe inspiring sight to be sure...I dock in one of the millions of ports and shuttle to one of the 8 planets held within, On a small island rests her palace a place of beauty and splendor...but it will now and forever be a place where only pain lives for me. The servants see me inside and ask me to await Moonshaddow, which is new because they seldom speak to me at all. After a few minutes she enters the large sitting area in full regalia. I rush to hold her but she raises her hand and I stop dead in my tracks. Her face is sullen and instantly my heart sinks...and I know something bad is coming.
"What's wrong?" I ask hoping Imy instincts are wrong...but they seldom are.
"I need to talk to you about...us."
"What about us...is everything okay?"
"No things are not, I....I lied to you and I can't do it any more Please understand that I never meant to hurt you and I know your feelings are real."
"I sense a but coming."
"But I refuse to lead you on, regardless of what my Father's wishes are..."
"Your father!?! Gods be damned I knew it! I never wanted to believe it but since the day I found out the Black Mantis was your father I knew it was a setup. I asked you, and you said your business was your own. But it's not is it?"
Here eyes begin to tear as my words sting her heart, if anything at least there's some remorse.
"Why come clean now?"
"My father left me for dead, and you resurrected me, I can't just ignore that...it was the most selfless act anyone has ever performed for me in over 9,000 years. I tried to do as my father bid me but he has hardly shown me such compassion or loyalty. Still he is my father and an elder god and what he asks of me I find I cannot do."
"So that's it then? You won't fight for what we have?"
"I fear there is nothing left to fight for, but I won't lead you on and I won't let him have you. I release you from my service and I as much as it it breaks my heart I banish you. return to your life my love, know that there's a place in my heart that will never be complete without you and that I do this not because I don't care but because I care enough to not hand you to my father. He will be enraged when he discovers what I have done here but he will not harm me and will not harm you either."
"So that's it then...just like that?"
She turns away and with a wave of her hand I'm just me again. I hate when I'm right about things like this. It sems the only time my instincts serve me best is when it about something bad. I turn and walk away and a part of me is thankful that this is over...messing around with gods is difficult at best but...she'll always have a place in my heart...she was there when I really wasn't myself and when I really didn't like who I was, I can find solace in that at least I board MY ship and leave the Drake and it's crew in the docking bay, I want no more to do with the Black Mantis or any of his people...ever again. |

| In the Mani Hangar of the SS Lillun Obsidian and a couple of clones perform maintenance on the various vehicles he uses regularly. Inside the Hangar is a cargo EM transporter and plenty of cargo space designed to retrieve Obsidian's various vehicles and can be used to retrieve vehicles as large as the Lillun's shuttles.. The hangar is located in the belly of the Lillun. |

I have a lot of history with the Namae so I head there to see if I can't hunt down a couple of scientific experts in Vortex phenomenon, the Namae are widely known for having expertise in a great many fields, but it varies from colony to colony. So I'll head to their Central planet and see if we can't search their libraries. Before any of that happens I'll have to gate in. The Stargates, are a miracle of science just for their awesome size their not easy to get into since the destination for each traveler has to be punched in one ship at a time but it cuts a huge check out of the travel time and folding in can start some interstellar shit I don't want to deal with. Fortunately today traffic is light and it's only a two hour wait. Emerging through the Nameaan gate I'm immediately hailed by a Sathari cruiser. This is gonna be fun. |

I walk into my new quarters aboard the refitted Lillun, and I head for the shower but as I remove my helmet I catch a glance at myself in the mirror...and then on reflex I put three rounds into it. I didn't recognize my own reflection, and why? Because my skin is as black as ink. What in the for real fuck? I call the only person who can offer any insight into this sudden transformation...The Black Mantis. In a flash of lightning he's standing before me and the son of a bitch immediately begins to snicker.
"This is funny to you? Are you serious?"
"Yeah" he laughs..."just a little."
"Well would you mind telling me what the hell is going on? I'm not a Drow, Daakalfar, or any other kind of dark elf."
"Is there um, something wrong with being a Drow?"
The tone in his voice suggest he thinks I might be racist..he's got to be kidding.
"Don't be an ass. Your insinuative tone is seriously uncalled for."
"Heh, you're really starting to loosen up, that stick of yours might actually have made it all the way out of your ass. Seriously, that quiet terror of me was getting old, still don't get too carried away. Okay I'll tell you what's going on. It's simple actually, didn't you ever notice how dark Moonshadow's skin was, I mean her skin was like, seriously black...even for our kind."
"Well, okay maybe a little."
"She was goddess of shadows and intrigue, and now you are. Being a Drow, and change in her skin tone would have been nearly unnoticeable by outsiders. However, on you...it would literally be a change of night and day but look at your eyes, they're still the same so I'm guessing the change is just cosmetic...Heh heh"
"So I'm stuck like this?"
"I'm afraid so...well at least for as long as your remain Lord of Shadows and Intrigue. Just be glad those spider legs come out of your back and not your waist. I don't think you'd do so well as a half spider. Ha Ha!"
He leaves as quickly as he came and I go back to the bathroom. With a wave of my hand the mirror is reassembled so I can get a perfect view of my now jet black skin. I need a nap.

| The Prime Suspect

After discovering, that the guard was innocent and apparently did have a conversation with apparently the black mantis, I am worried about just one thing. If it was an impostor, how did it compel the guard to obey the order to allow the thief inside. The fake would have had to have current authorization codes and, (this is the real kicker) been able to wipe the records of said transmission clean. The more I dig, the more it looks like the Black Mantis is behind everything. He's the only one capable of this. I have to meet with the council, and explain my theories to them. But there's something in the back of my mind that keeps trying to tell me something, I just can't hear it. I'm missing something but what? As I wrack my brains thinking about it I feel a gentle pair of very delicate fingers on my temples. The circling motion easing the tension that has been building since this whole thing started. The touch is sublime and I feel calm like I used to when I was with- MOONSHADOW!
I leap from where I'm sitting and spin on a dime, and sure enough there she stands in all her splendid loveliness. God I miss her, but...
"Hello lover." She says with a seductive purr.
"Yeah, hey there. What are you doing here?"
"Oh as soon as you started looking into this whole mystery I have been near. It is after all in my domain."
"Right Goddess of intrigue. This situation would certainly fit the bill. So are you here to seduce me or lend a hand?"
"To lend a hand lover I would require and act of worship."
"I'm afraid my wives would most likely not approve."
"You're married now? To mortals again I presume?"
"No actually they're not mortal kin, they're Sylvanari Elves."
"Are you sure about that?"
"Do you know something I don't?"
"Darling..." she says moving closer until my back is against a wall and her lips are tantalizingly close to mine. "Of course I do?"
I can feel her breath on my skin, and I remember so much of our time together, but she's playing with me.
"What, um do you know?"
"Ah ah ahh lover, I am a goddess and I expect my due."
"Exactly what is your due?"
As her clothes vanish in a mist I want only to indulge her, but I just can't."
'No." I say calmly.
"No? Are you so loyal to your WIVES that you won't have me? I know about the little concubine demoness you keep. That is permissible but this isn't? Talk about hypocrisy."
"Aini, has my wives' approval. If you get theirs then I will happily indulge your every whim, but know this: They have the final say. It is that simple...and believe me I wish I could just give in."
"Now I know why my father has pursued you for so long. You can't be bought or bribed, you are honorable to a fault. It's a very rare quality, and he's an admirer of it."
"Honorable? No offense but your father doesn't strike me as honorable."
"But he is. He has kept every bargain he has ever made with you has he not? Keeping his word and obeying his rather twisted code is the very definition of honor."
"Okay, fine he IS honorable. Now if it's not too much trouble would you mind letting me get back to my dilemma?"
"Sure. In the meantime, maybe I'll have a talk with your harem."
"What?"
Instantly she's gone and I'm left with an uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach.
The next morning I ask the council members to assemble in closed chambers.
With Spydra at my side, I am understandably intimidated by the level of cosmic power in the room. I clear my throat and addressed the six assembles council members.
"I have nearly completed my investigation."
"Do you have any suspects?" Norjaguar asks.
"Only one."
They each look at one another and then Raven asks the inevitable.
"Who?"
"I can divulge that information right now but if my suspicions are correct you may all be in much greater danger than any of us first realized."
"How so?"
"I can't divulge that at this time, I can only say that you all need to remain together, no avatars, no simulacrums, no clones. No traveling of any kind and you must remain together at all times until this investigation is complete."
They all nod in agreement. I leave with a glimmer of hope and pray I'm wrong about what I am almost certain I am not. I have to return to the colony where this whole investigation started.

Ai has asked to meet with me alone in our quarters to talk about her...recent revelation. It's a conversation I am eager to have but I'm certain she is not. As I walk through the door her nervousness is obvious to even the untrained eye. I try to be as nonchalant as I can and put her at ease. I pour us both some Elderberry wine (she has quite a taste for it) and I take a seat on the sofa. Ai sits across from me and after a couple of moments of thought she speaks.
"I-I wanted to tell you about what I am. I was going to tell you many times but the moment never seemed right and I wasn't sure how you'd take it."
"I can understand that. It's not something that one just drops in another's lap out of nowhere."
"Yes, but still you are my husband and I have unintentionally deceived you. I apologize and I beg your forgiveness."
"There's nothing to forgive but I do have some questions."
"As I thought you might. Ask me anything husband and I will answer truly."
"Alright. Are you dragon or elf?"
"I am...dragon. I have been as you see me now for a very long time. I know little of my dragon heritage beyond what instinct can reveal."
"Where I come from this next question is considered rude, but not between a husband and wife. I need to ask...How old are you, as we know time?"
"I am 120 of your years but that is only an estimate. In truth I do not know but I have not lived longer than those from my village."
"Fair enough. Can you use magic like other dragons?"
"I have no spells, and few dragon powers. I can fly, I can see great distances, and perfectly even in magical darkness, My other senses, hearing, smell, taste and touch, are much greater than those of many animals. I can in my dragon form, fly at incredible speed, and of course breathe fire. I am also immune to fire and heat."
"Um mating...if you were to become pregnant how would that work?"
"I don't know. I have had no parent to teach me the ways of my kind and I only know the way of elves."
"We'll have to do some research and discover those things together, or perhaps find you a mentor."
"I would like that husband."
"So basically you were adopted, or is your sister the same?"
"I was very young when the chief's first wife found me. She could not bear children and so claimed me as her own daughter. I grew up with the other children in my village and no-one ever knew what I was, not even me. One day raiders came to destroy our village and the women and children were hiding in a cave. The raiders found us and were going to enslave, violate or kill, every one of us. I acted out of instinct and shouted at the warriors before us. In a flash I could see them in the darkness of the cave and I could smell the fear in their blood. As my serpentine form writhed before them and my wings unfurled, their hearts filled with terror. With a single breath 8 warriors met a fiery end, burned to smoldering husks. My tribe reacted with joy and hailed me as a hero, blessed by the gods. They thought my transformation was a blessing, a one time occurrence. Until I revealed myself before you I had never again had the need to transform into my dragon form. I knew instinctively that the dragon scales and my wings were the truest version of me. I did practice flying and whatever abilities I could. It just felt proper."
she shifts into her scaled form effortlessly the appearance is something akin to swirling water. Even in this form she is beautiful to behold. She looks away, shy, and I cannot help but reach for her face and turn her head to look her in her magnificent golden eyes.
"Wow, well...this a bit to take in...but...it changes nothing between us. You are still my first wife and I am still your husband."
"Will others accept this? I know how outsiders can be."
"In many places a union between a dragon and any humanoid is not well accepted. Keep this secret until we can find another Golden dragon to help teach you of your people. No need to cause more conflict than necessary."
"Does my form bring shame upon you?"
"No...I would care for you no matter your form. I only ask that you not reveal your true form to strangers...think of it as the element of surprise."
We continue talking well into the evening hours and I get to know my wife a bit better. Her dreams, her favorite things, and why she is who she is. I don't care that she's a dragon, although some others might. I am not just honor bound to remain...I truly care for Ai.
