I haven't been inspired to do any posts lately so i figured i'd do something for the holiday. besides it was a good opportunity to use the very seldom used P4 Posette figure and some new props i picked up. This was more or less an experiment using the Fog Deluxe III item to simulate flame. I suppose i could have devoted more time to pose the flames better but like i said..the inspiration level is wayyy down. btw, no postwork done.

 Re: HallowQueen
Thanx for the comments. I'm not a Poser user myself [strictly DAZ3D. I only use Poser for the content] so I really can't relate to what you're talking about. But i do appreciate the advice. I really shouldn't have posted this cuz it's crap and i knew it was crap before I posted it. I actually should have posted this in the Hellfire gallery since it was more or less an experiment. But hey, you play the hand you're dealt .
I did see the 3D tips thread you started and think it's a great idea..but being a DAZ user, I think I'll wait to see if anyone needs help along those lines before offering advice no one might need.

 Re: HallowQueen
hey,
like the composition.
Just a few things maybe to improve it. (i always like getting feedback on mine, hope you do too)
Increase the height of the fog.
maybe add one white light for highlights.

have you ever tried using a cylinder and tapering one end and then using the flame texture found in Poser's default material library? It works better than most models I have found.
look forward to seeing more. PS i started a new thread in the forum for tips and techniques. check it out and post. :D
