The Island of California off the coast of Nevada was oriignally part of Earth's United States of America until the great Earthquake of 2385 which caused an upheaval of the tectonic plates separating the landmass that was the state of California and creating the Nevada Mountains pictured in the background. California now serves as the capitol of the Allied Continents of Earth or ACE for short. Washington DC is the former capitol of the United States but after an attack in 2077 by a Villain known as Maneater which killed millions most of the city was decimated beyond recovery. Now Los Angeles serves as the Capitol of not only the United States but all of Earth.
