I have posted an image of a griffin before but this time I have a new lighting setup. Of course griffins are commonly used as mounts and although synthetic versions are cheaper and more easily recovered from injuries. Additionally synthetic versions have many advantages over living griffins being machines as they are. Griffins hate hippogriffs and hippogriffs hate griffins, this hatred is unheard of among non-sentient species and is profound when you consider that even when mounted they will attack one another on sight ignoring any commands and attempts by their riders who may be injured in the fight. Griffins and hippogriffs make no distinction between living and synthetic versions attack either with equal fervor and zeal. Why then would anyone want to ride a Griffin? They are loyal beyond words and very nearly sentient making them unparalleled for use as a mount and companion.
