When designing a bridge I usually start with a Trekkie type design. Captain center of everyone and navigation in a forward position all the other stations can be wherever although I like the idea of  having tactical behind the captain's chair.  But this one was a little different. I had to add elements of an Egyptian culture and still keep it sci-fi. Some Stargate props sure helped out and make  for great aesthetics.
