Re: Elektra *Tsk.* What kind of pack rat Manippers are you? The model is Amy Weber, and you should all do a Google search on her and then relax for a while.

Re: Elektra Nothing wrong with being picky, WH! I do it all the time when critiquing art, and expect the same in return. I love critiques, cause if I don't get them, then I won't improve. I just wish you good HM folks would give me more of them, LOL. I find comments infinitely preferable to numerical ratings... I mean, if someone says my art is a 7 (or whatever), then that doesn't really tell me much. I prefer to know what problems people found that made them mark it down. Anyway... Going off topic... Must respond to comments...
Kalli: Thanks for the good word about my style. Oddly, I adopted it largely because my software doesn't really lend itself to making photorealistic images, for a variety of reasons. No layers, plus there's less versatility in tools like burn & dodge... and thus, it's difficult to make something truly realistic. But I've found I really like it... sets my work apart from everyone elses.
re: the bandana. Yeah, I think you're right, though I never noticed it before. I followed the hairline, but it would actually follow the line of the scalp itself.
re: the sai. Um... maybe it should be bigger. Yeah, probably. Honestly though, my main problem with it is that it isn't shiny enough. It's kind of dull.

Re: Elektra Other then the sai, this picture is near perfect. I really like this one. I have seen the model a couple of times, I even have this base pic in my database, no idea who she is mind you. I really like what you did with the lighting on the character nice job. The background rocks on this one as well. I do think her hat is a little to big but this is still very nice, I am just being a little nit picky.

Re: Elektra this is good, i really like your style of making manips look more like paintings instead of photos... very original.
my only critique is... maybe the sai should be a tad bigger? just my opinion
