My girlfriend and I decided to try our hand at painting so we each bought a little acrylic kit and took a shot. This was my effort. Keep in mind that I haven't tried to paint in probably...10 or 12 YEARS and adjust comments accordingly.

This is really cool... I think your handling of color in the natural media is a little stronger than with digital.
