Some of the comic strips my team and I have produced for our book have featured characters interesting enough that we've used them in repeat appearances. Last year I created these redesigned versions of the main ones for eventual use on our website and other purposes.
This one is another character created by my mate Kerry Nelson, a cute creature curiously named Cigar...

Cheers DW, I know that Kerry is a big Invader Zim fan, so I do believe that Gir served as some visual influence for the character of Cigar... But I'm sure he was trying to make it less obvious, whereas I too love Gir so my version probably make the comparison somewhat inescapable...
