this pose is pure catwoman, and the model is the incomparably sexy Ariana Sage. another installment in my elseworlds series, featuring a somewhat modified variation of a little-used costume, and a very different-looking selina kyle. enjoy! comments appreciated.

Dude, she's so... rubbery...
There's a store in Manhattan, if you made the outfit for real, you could sell it!

thanks for the critique dan. the plastic wrap filter does play a big part in my latex-costume style, but it does have its weaknesses, you're right. i really should've spent a bit more time on her back, for instance. but as you said, in places like the legs, and i think, her cowl, it really works well. looks like another 20 minutes of clean-up would've solved the problems you mentioned.

thanks to everyone who has enjoyed this series so far, i've got wonder woman, mary marvel, and power girl to go, and then its on to a few marvel heroines i plan on redesigning!!!

very cool. you have some solid costuming skills. i really like the costume....it's a beautiful color. the fur....nice touch. i really do like the way it shines, and for the most part the light pops are nice. i really think though you need to get away from the plastic wrap filter. to be honest, it looks like someone spunked all over the costume. i think if you keep using it more subtle touches with it would work, and some post dodge and burning would really help. look how it makes her back look, it no longer looks sexy...it looks bumpy. instances like that can be worked for something more obvious like wrinkles, the few parts you have them look great. it only makes sense to have wrinkles on the back....it's arched, there is no tension in the material in the back while she is arched. also the transistion between costume and fur....it's just BAM and it's there. i think you need something there to start the fur and end the costume.

with all of that though, it's a very strong and striking piece. i really do think you need to get away from the plastic wrap filter, it's cool to use, but in can really hurt an image more than help in some cases. here it barely works, i would rather see the suit silky smooth, but it creates a beautful look to her legs. maybe just select a few areas at a time and see how it works on each area.

really though...keep up the good work.

Yeah, this is indeed very cool. It's a great redesign, and the textures are really well done. I love the shine of the suit, and the fur is gorgeous. One of the best fur textures I've seen around, really.

I do have nitpicks, though. (Anyone who knows me from C2F knows I always have nitpicks ) First, the back area looks kinda weird, like she was wearing some clothing that wasn't quite smudged out. Second, the edges of the fur on her arm look sort of flat... they're very straight, a bit too long, and there's not enough layers to look realistic. It's hard to encapsulate exactly what I mean, but the edges on the tail (for example) are a *lot* better.
