There's just something about floating Superheroes...
What are MicroMax and Betsy up to?  Can Captain Britduck save the day?  You'll have to buy the issue to find out...

My "art notes" will be the first post.

----  12 hours later edit:
This image has been updated, the circles and the couple were adjusted slightly.

Pretty cool, I was a big fan of Captain Britain during the 90's.

"Look kids, Big Ben, Parliament!"

Awesome job on this guys, I'm not at all familiar with this series, but I see what you were going for, and I think you nailed it! Everything about this is beautifully put together, an easy ten from me.

This really does well in capturing the "Fun" of the original Alan Davis series. Very clean.

Great team-up! Your styles compliment each other very well. I enjoyed the original Excalibur tons and this captures the look and feel of those great Alan Davis comics. Well Done Fellas!

 Re: "Behold!" Excalibur HeroMorph-C2F Crossover...
I was really happy when I drew Kev's name out of the hat, I always wanted to do a Manip with him. We didn't talk for a while, but I caught the fever and did Meggan, which got him started on Cap. Then, we thought we were out of time, but Dar gave an extra four days, so the last four days have been pretty busy ones.

Meggan:
Nothing too special here, just a straight Classic Manip job. She was wearing a bikini, I incorporated that into the costume. The black stripes were done with the Pen Tool, I highly recommend learning to use it. She was a little too small for Meggan in the chest dept., so I gave her a little plastic surgery. Added the ear, raised her eyebrows, and gave her a skin job.

MicroMax:
Max is a bit of a nebish, who not only controls his size, but also his muscular appearance with his mutant ability. So I thought it would be fun to use a British nebish, which is why I started with Mr. Bean, Rowan Atkinson. Again, pretty straight forward, his face mask was a bubble tutorial. I Frankenstiened a weight lifter's body onto his head.

I made the header and the marvel "heads" logo, Kev did the rest.

---- later day edit:
Kev sent over his art notes-

I had a blast working with the nortorious JAB! Bikerbot's got a great eye for things and I felt bad I've been so busy lately. Anyways, so working out base photos we came up with Meggan and Captain Britain - two folks who don't get nearly enough manips made of them. He had some great ideas (the Captain Britain duck is friggin' real!). I had fun with the Captain's costume, adding some legs and shoulder since the original photo cropped them out. The background is from a photo I took when I was on the London Eye this past January.

Since we had some spare time we added the extra characters. Bikerbot got really excited about Micromax and I've always wanted to do 'Australian years' Psylocke so we added them for humor. Psylocke is actually actress Isla Fisher (Wedding Crashers). The hood was a bit tricky but I ended up using the pen tool and a lot of dodge n' burning. Hope y'all like 'em!

Inspiration for the cover was the old Marvel Super-Heroes seasonal specials like these:
