Great job Winter!
The piece has a nice overall tone. Something many artists never get, no matter how long they dabble in color.
one thing I noticed, is almost a "resistance" to going all-out with highlights and shadows with an artist's first couple colorizations.
I was guilty of the same thing. The highlights and shadows were there, I just felt hesitant to throw a solid white streak or black onto to a red or blue surface.
At first.
The more I did, the bolder I got with adding different colors on top of base colors. You start to see real dimension the more you do this.
I'm really interested to see your next pieces, as you experiment with more color! (and some texture, too, maybe?)
I like it. I hope you do alot more. and your right, I wouldn't mind doing one of Shade's great pics, myself
