The mask and sash were always the things stopping me from making a Ms Marvel that I really liked, and thanks to his "Cosplay" series, I've finally got the pieces together. Mask, sash, and boots are created by terrymcg, suit is AerySoul's bodice with custom trans/textures, gloves are V4 bodysuit with custom trans. hiya,
funny thing happened the other day... as a friend and i were discussing some old school rap songs, i remembered a rapper named redhead kingpin from the 80's... i know i know i'm old hahaa. anyway he and his dj came up with a track called redhead one. all it was was the kingpin's voice from the old spiderman cartoons. no rappin at all just the sinister kingpin's voice. yup so i sang *cough* it a few times and jumped in the lab.

here is my first attempt at rendering Rogue, X-Men Evolution version.
Still have some work to do: find some studded leather 'slave bracelets', as well as a more proper collar, and then a proper overshirt.
I was going to put her in a sitting pose, but the skirt cut into the legs. It has a ton of morphs for all kinds of poses, but right now they are just confusing to me.
Yep, this version has no huge boobs, and isn't particularly in a sexy pose (although she is showing butt cheek in the back due to the length of the skirt ^_^). I wanted to get the 'base' version down before I slutted up the image any |

Been a while, what with my computer practically blowing up and all.
So during this transition phase to a new, non-combustible computer,
I took some time to fight with photoshop on a strange system and finish some stuff I started.
My own version of an X-Men Trilogy.
With the original 5 in various timelines.
Creds to all whose hard work helped here...

Angel Wings are feathered wings from DAZ.
Blue Beast's hair is Jason Hair from DAZ.
Sinister's Cape is actually the poseable Ribbon from Adamthwaites (Mostdigital creations.com)
Archangel wings are pieced together photoshopped versions of the Serpentaillica snake wings from DAZ.
Sparkle and flare brushes by obsidiandawn.
Throw in some HeroFX from DAZ, M4, V4 and Freak4 textures, MATs and bodysuits by me,
and a lot of Photoshop postwork, and that pretty much sums it up.
X-Men and characters are copyright to Marvel Comics.

Thus you get the good vs. the bad:
Cyclops vs. Avalanche, Wolverine vs. Sabretooth, Rogue vs. Mystique, Gambit vs. Pyro, Storm vs. Gargoyle, Jubilee vs. Juggernaut & Professor X vs. Magneto
But I didn’t like all the villains. So I changed it, trying to keep characters and their nemeses from the cartoon. Now it’s:
Cyclops vs. Mr. Sinister, Wolverine vs. Sabretooth, Rogue vs. Mystique, Gambit vs. Bella Donna, Storm vs Callisto, Jubilee vs. Juggernaut & Professor X vs. Magneto
Then I added Jean Grey vs. Archangel (not really nemeses, but cool characters to add in here)
And then I had to throw in Apocalypse. |

These are my five personal favorite X-Men. There's actually more manip to this than 3D, but the base image was posed in Poser and textured and rendered in Lightwave. An exceedingly difficult piece for several reasons. For one thing, I discovered my computer's limits, as I could not even LOAD all the figures at once in Lightwave. I had to render the left half with Kitty, Colossus, and Cyclops first. Then, using the same camera angle and lighting, I rendered a second image with the right half of the image containing Wolverine and Phoenix. Psylocke was in there too, next to Jean, but since the pixel count for v4 is higher than the v3 and m3 figures, I couldn't load her in with them.
After the right half was rendered, I had to combine the two images in Photoshop "Parent Trap" style. After that, it was simply a matter of choosing which costumes to use and painting them on.
This image took me four days to complete, so I hope you guys like it.  |

Ok, so I have been trying to get inspiration for my next manip, but I'm stuck.
So, while waiting I've been searching my old cartoon collection for said inspiration.
(Yes, I watch cartoons, you got a problem with that? We can take it outside...)
Anyway, reminiscing over the 90's X-Men, I have been playing around in Daz Studio
studying the fascinating areas of light and shadow, posing and props.
And I decided to work on this version of the mutant from Xavier's School.
The gals are all versions of Victoria 4.2
Gambit is Michael 3, and the other two are Michael 4
