| Wakey wakey Batsie.... Tuffers 2009/5/2 10:34 3634 3
Batgirl's head swam - she could hear music, yet it made no sense. She recognised the song, but somehow the lyrics were......different. The Boomtown Rats blasted her senses, but the chorus was all wrong...."It's a Bat Trap, and you've been caught....".
Harley: "Ohh, Mr J, she's waking up" Joker: "Finally.....wakey wakey Batsie....you nearly missed the big finale"! Harley: "Can we just do it now puddin' "? Joker: "Harley, Harley, Harley...that's what I like about you....your.....enthusiasm. But no, we have to wait. The Bat still has 5 minutes to show up before the deadline. Of course, if he doesn't show, then......". Harley: "Ohh...Mr J......you're the best". Catwoman: "I think I'm gonna be sick. Why you couldn't leave me alone with Batgirl for half an hour I'll never know". Joker: "Ahhh, Kitty....I'd forgotten you were there. And it's simple really......we need her alive........for now. But, look on the bright side, if he shows you get to sink your claws into him, if not....well, Batgirl's not going anywhere fast". Catwoman: Mmmmmmmmmm.......that sounds......... deliciously...... purrrrfect". Harley: "Ohh Mr J, you promised her to me....". Joker: "Now now Harley...you have to learn to share. And one last thing.....if you really want to be taken seriously, then I suggest using a proper knife, and not a plastic one from the cafeteria". Harley: "Mr J"!!! Batgirl: "Uhhmm....mmpgghh"

| Up From The Depths whiz 2012/3/12 3:47 2263 6
?The story must start with my father, a famous undersea explorer ? if I spoke his name, you would recognize it. My mother died when I was a baby, and he turned to his work of solving the ocean's secrets. His greatest discovery was an ancient city, in the depths where no other diver had ever penetrated. My father believed it was the lost kingdom of Atlantis. He made himself a water-tight home in one of the palaces and lived there, studying the records and devices of the race's marvelous wisdom. From the books and records, he learned ways of teaching me to live under the ocean, drawing oxygen from the water and using all the power of the sea to make me wonderfully strong and swift. By training and a hundred scientific secrets, I became what you see ? a human being who lives and thrives under the water.?~arthur curry hiya, hope you're doing well.here's my newest.i decided to revamp my version of ac yet again.i'm still fiddling with his costume textures. i got closer to my goal this go round (yaaay!). i wanted a serene at peace scene this go round.as much as i love action in my images i also like to see 'inside' my characters. this time i felt like i was looking over arthur's shoulders.so i'm real happy at how this one shaped up. anyhoo enjoy friends... thanks for the support... *till the dragon flies again, hugs and regards*, lee |

| Ultra Man cattle 2010/8/26 19:57 2136 0
There has been several Ultramen in the DCU. They are evil alternates of Superman. this one was introduced in the DC series 52. He is a member of the Earth 3 Crime Soctiey of America |

| Ultra Boy at Doomsday's Mercy kdh1911a1 2011/9/29 7:17 1960 0
After foolishly trying confronting Doomsday alone Ultra Boy is quickly defeated in a short, violent battle and finds himself at the mercy of the monster! |

| Ultimate Superman. JunFan 2005/2/3 16:23 5022 11
This is my take on Kal-El in the "Ultimate" format. In my version he is truly the "stranger from another world". Not entirely trusted, and certainly not the icon he is in the stantard universe. Thus I wanted his uniform to be somewhat alien and very simple, but reckognizable. (I know it's shiny, It's SUPPOSED to be shiny!! I see him as a being of great internal conflict. A heartbeat away from either saving the world (against itself if neccesary) or dominating it w/ a fist of steel. (okay, time to double my dosage...thinking too much...) -Leif. |
|
| Ultimate Plastic-Man. JunFan 2005/2/13 14:05 4769 13
So this one was a LOT easier than the "Diana" pic! Here is my version of ol' Eel. I picture him as an outcast. He was once a criminal, but he now thirsts for justice (and vengance). Rarely bothering to even form a mouth, much less than wisecrack w/ it! I would like to see his frighteningly destructive potential explored. -Leif. |
|
| Ultimate Manhunter. JunFan 2005/2/5 13:32 4776 7
So continuing my Ulti-verse, This version of The Martian Manhunter is somewhat reclusive. He can shape-shift, but with considerable effort, also he is not as physically powerful. (Don't need two Supermen!) He remains in his natural form most of the time, thus his reclusive nature. I see him as more of a behind the scenes kind of character. I wanted to keep some of the original feel, but give him a more alien look. P.S. My wife designed the arm-band! -Leif. |
|
| Ultimate JLA. JunFan 2005/4/9 8:22 6436 12
Hey guys! I hadn't really planned on putting all my ultimates together when I was doing them, but it seemed like a good idea in the end. I just tossed this together to see the combined effect. |
|
| Ultimate Green Lantern. JunFan 2005/2/4 6:59 5485 13
Okay, so it's hard to do an "Ultimate" G.L. w/out just looking like another variant costume. Sue me. ;-P Anyway, I tried to look at the Corps (yes, they still exist in my little world) as State-Troopers in space. The stripe down the leg, the big black boots, and the goggles are all there to try and give that effect. Enjoy! -Leif. |
|
| Ultimate Flash. JunFan 2005/2/2 21:06 5321 15
This started as a sketch I did while on vacation. Two weeks w/out a computer gives you lots of time to create new ideas! I'm a hardcore D.C. fan, but the "Ultimate" line by Marvel rocks! This is my first attempt at "ultimizing" D.C. characters. More to come! -Leif. |
|
| Ultimate Diana. JunFan 2005/2/11 12:27 10962 20
So here ya go! About 4 days of work here, man my eyes hurt! All the armor is scratch-built. Anywho, I studied anything I could find on Greek armor and tried to incorporate it w/ her classic look. I think this character would drop the "Wonder-Woman" name and just go by "Diana". She would also be more warrior-like than her current incarnation. Enjoy! -Leif. |
|
| Ultimate Batman. JunFan 2005/2/7 20:00 6069 17
Yeah, so the obsession continues. Do the rest of you guys/gals get like this? I'm on some down time from work lately (I work outside), so I sketched out all the JLA re-makes. Now it's just a matter of getting them all digitized!
Anyway...Bats has a pretty classic look. I added the goggles (night vision) and some pads/armor/helmet. (Just seemed to make sense) I'm sure a lot of these things have been drawn before, but you take your inspiration where you find it! -Leif.
P.S. BikerBot, I promise to get to your piece when I'm done w/ this series. Just four more to go!!! |
|
| Ultimate Atom. JunFan 2005/4/7 9:53 4275 9
Finally had time to finish this, the last addition to the series. I was going for a sort of tech/"Tron" look to the suit. The white lines on the suit carry the energy of the whihe-dwarf star fragment in his belt to the rest of his body, and they glow when he shrinks. (that's my excuse, but it looks frickin cool!) I figure he's the ultimate infiltrator, whether it be medically or espionage-related. I gave him a "rebreather" and face mask 'cause you don't want to be leaving little air bubbles in peoples blood. Also figured he could use a jet-pack pretty efficently since he can alter his mass. (Great milage!) Finished it off w/ wrist gauntlets, one is a ray to shrink other objects, the other a high intensity laser. Peace! -Leif. |
