| Mister Astrology is a villain that has taken his interests to the utmost extreme believing that he is something more than what he is and can do more than what he his capable of doing. In his case it is his extreme devotion to the stars and constellations, particularly the signs of the zodiac. Most everyone has zodiac themed heroes or villains, so this guy is the leader of the group that I have created for such in my Coolstar Universe. (I gave him the sign of Scorpio because that is my own, but nothing else about this character reflects any of my own beliefs in the subject.) |

| Since this is the season of not just the Christian holiday of Christmas, but also the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah, I've created a trio of distinctly Jewish heroes to inhabit my Coolstar Comics Universe. I am not Jewish, but as a Christian, obviously have roots in that faith, yet I had to do a lot of research to make these guys work. Also, while none of them really have anything to do with Hanukkah exactly, I did decide to give them the menorah as their symbol, however they do retain the traditional Star of David on their matching signet rings. Overall, they are obviously based upon a mix between DC's Marvel Family and The Wonder Twins, also from DC Comics, and their names are from the rites of passage into adulthood from their faith. |

| Dr. Insecto completes my team known as the Evil Society of Villains (ESV), as he is the big boss behind them all. Design wise, while he is a man mutated into an insect-like monster, since I made his former self an Japanese man, I decided to make him look somewhat like a demon of Japanese folklore even though the evil entity that changed him wasn't from his home country or even Earth. I was also inspired a bit by Galactus, in that Insecto is also a destroyer of worlds who feeds off of the destruction he causes, but Insecto is not a giant and is not a force of nature like Galactus is in that he's a bit more grounded in spite of still being an intergalactic foe that is feared by many. |

I couldn't pass up doing at least one Halloween-type character, so here is my latest o.c. Jyl O'Lantern! She is an alien bounty hunter that was inspired by the Earth holiday of Halloween to create her entire repertoire of gimmicks and persona around. Her race is Unizian from the planet Uniz, and they are physically similar to the Revans from the planet Reva, another alien race of mine recently seen from examples of my characters "Suni Shores" and "Racer-Girl." The difference between the Unizians and the Revans is quite subtle. Unizians and Revans both have solid colored eyes with no visible pupils or irises that come in many colors, as well as hair that comes in many colors, but only Revans have skin tones that come in multiple colors - all Unizians are red and red alone. The other subtle difference between the two races is that while both have pointed ears, the Revans' ears bend downward a bit whereas the Unizians have straight elfin-like ears. Thus, the Unizians are more in line with my other race of green skinned elves from the planet Vegtan as shown by the character "Elf Queen" except that they're obviously red and not green and not known as "elves" either.  |

| This guy is not part of my recent stream of "Halloween themed" villains, but he does wear orange and black, and in recent years I've been submitting other members of my Evil Society of Villains (ESV) team in October around Halloween, so I thought why not post this guy now. So, here is my original character Nimrod Lasergator, gang lord of the Black Beamers, renegades from the Blue Beamers, my own take on a "Green Lantern" type of organization, and one of the nine gang lords of the ESV, five of which I've submitted so far including him. |

| Olive is one of those kinds of characters in comics that villains throw at the heroes who have all the powers of their foes, like the Super Skrull or Amazo. Her name comes not only from the tone of her fur/skin and the fact that she is on of the Mean Green Witch's "Green Creatures", but also from an old joke where kids have been supposedly known to have mistaken the line in the Rudolph song, "All of the other reindeer..." as "Olive the other reindeer..." So, there you have it, "Olive the Evil Reindeer!" |

| I created this character way back in 2002, but didn't really have a use for her until now. After my recent art hiatus working on organizing all of the characters that I have created over the years I came upon her again and many other characters that I had drawn that were physically similar to her in that they all had different skin colors, hair colors, eyes that are solid colored as well with no irises or pupils, and with pointed bent ears (She's wearing her helmet in this image, but these features are evident in my other image of her), that I decided to include them all under one race that I had already established for one of the characters like this. Also, at the same time I saw a call for creators to submit racing characters to a project within the "Wandering Star" group on DA which I stated in the comments for the journal there that I would gladly submit this character for use in the project as long as she could also remain fully integrated into my own universe, at which they said it would be fine, so here she is, "Luna Racer the Racer-Girl." |

| Robo Samurai is one of many of my characters who I've had the opportunity to create a really cool back story for which basically involves a trio of robotics designers, who just happen to be all part cybernetic themselves, playing God and each creating their own races of robots on their own planets they decided to colonize with their creations. Of course since doing such things has its consequences, some of these robots stayed good, while others turned bad ... R.S. here is one of the bad ones. |

Gabriel is more appropriate for this time of year than the other two due to his role in the story of the birth of Jesus, but I can't really have one without the others, so I've decided to post all three of their bios together. |

All three of the Archangels - Michael, Gabriel and Raphael here sometimes play important roles in the CSCU in giving guidance to the various heroes that inhabit it, and sometimes even helping them combat evil as good angelic warriors should. |

| O.C. - The Spirit of Kwanzaa

| After making a trio of Jewish/semi-Hanukkah inspired heroes, and a whole slew of Christmas-themed heroes, I decided to try my hand at creating a character for the third most prominent of winter holidays, Kwanzaa. "Spirit of Kwanzaa" here is the result. I do not celebrate Kwanzaa myself, and before I created this character, I knew zero about it other than that it involved lighting candels much like people do during Hanukkah. So, it was very interesting doing the research about all the concepts and ideals that make up the celebration in order to work it all into an origin for him and bring it all together as the basis for his powers and abilities. Also, while he has a tragic origin involving gun violence around a winter holiday, I want to make it clear that I am in no way making any kind of political statement in light of similar tragedies that have occurred during this 2012 holiday season. I wrote this long before any of those events occurred, and anything I have written for this character is purely and oddly coincidental. (I would never make light of anything like that anyway.) My intent was strictly to create an impactful origin for the character in the vein of similar "avenging spirit" types such as "Deadman" or "The Specter." |
