Her partner a weapon as she takes the lead
One two step her enemies bleed
Iron heart warriors rage on their face
Catches her dance struck by her grace
Arms hands steel all move as one
One two step the carrion birds come
Breasts heave with effort thighs splash with red
Cross body lead the vultures are fed
Whisk oversway promenade step
Reverse pivot swing out lethal rhythm is kept
Music of death cries fade on the wind
One two step the lady's dance ends
All the dance references in Battledancer were inspired by my wife and hero, Anna (_Wildfire). Before a tragic accident shattered nearly every bone in her body, and very nearly took her from us, Anna was the most amazing dancer. She was blessed with an incredibly strong and flexible body, that made gymnastics and dance as natural to her as walking is to the rest of us. She was a lead dancer on her dance team when they won 1st place, Grand Champions, at the National Dance Team Championships years ago. She heals a little more everyday. She's the coolest friend a space cadet/dreamer like me could ever hope for. She's a comic book, heroic fantasy novel, gamer babe. And of course, my perfect muse. |

I saw this dress by PJZ99 and a whole Cthulu scene popped into my head. A cult of The Deep Ones and making female visitors feel "welcome" and join them in making more Deep One hybrids.

I saw this freebie and the bodice looked like the front on a male suit vest. From there I decided that I should make a female leprechaun. I'm not certain how I got there, but there it is.

| Wildfire heard a ruckus in the seasonal merchants bazaar near the front gate of Iron Keep. Caravans of merchants would set up their tents twice a year on the open "kill grounds" leading up the main gate of the home of the Iron Tigers. Wildfire founded and is the leader of the free company of mercenaries. Their specialty was hunting down and killing monsters of all kinds with bounties on their heads. When Wildfire stepped through the huge front gate, she saw a mob chasing what seemed to be a young elf girl. She pulled her axe from it's back harness and ran down the incline that led to the merchants area, calling for the newcomer to come to her as she did. Shadow, the black panther cub, who had been playfully stalking her, followed. The exotic looking girl instinctively knew Wildfire could be trusted, and zipped in to hide behind her. The mob pulled up short before the legendary leader of the Iron Tigers. "You will leave this girl alone; she is under my protection! Anyone here have a problem with that, step up!" Without so much as under breath grumbling the mob quickly dispersed. Shadow gave the mob a parting growl. |

Born of Drow and human Nyx Do'Urden grew up shunned by people who didn't understand that like her father there were a few drow with good intentions and good hearts. Nyx never gave much mind to the eyes and mouths that cursed her or her father, her heart was in wild woods and in her fathers smile. The few friends she had were among the dwarves of her mothers "family" and those close to her parents. She loved to hear the adventures her parents went on with their group of adventurous friends. She longed to share her father's legacy and show the world that even a part drow can break apart from the stereo type that is the drow. Her closest friends of course were animals that shared with her the secrets of the forest and spirit of the wild, she will always have the heart of the wild.
Through a series of odd events she has become apart of her very own adventuring party, and with the fighting skills she has learned from her father and mother, and the magic of nature she had learned from her forest friends she begins the journey to follow in her fathers footsteps and hopefully make him proud. |
