Brianna Diggers from Fred Perry's GOLD DIGGER comic.
Brianna was 'created' by the removal of a curse from her 2 sisters, Gina and Britanny. In one of Gina and Britanny's earlier adventures, they were struck with a curse while exiting an ancient treasure vault. Gina attempted to "trick" the curse into leaving herself and Britanny by creating a soup of genetic material identical to their own. The curse, however, unexpectedly animated the biological material, creating a genetic cross between Gina and Britanny. Brianna has her sisters memories and experiences up to the moment she was born. She has both Gina's love of technology and Brit's love of aggressive physical activity and recreation. The resulting fusion is the love of aggressive physical technology, like high-tech weapons and armor.

Meet Ted Kord (or as Suzie Dibny calls him, "Teddy"). He's smarter than you are. You know he's smarter. He knows he's smarter. And he's not afraid to tell you that he's smarter.
Mr. Kord made his fortune in arms manufacturing. The "genius bomb"? His. Electrically-charged plasma bullets? His. Genetic tracer missiles? You get the idea!
When "legitimate" (although highly unethical) avenues of commerce no longer stoked his fire, he turned to the highly lucrative field of super-villiany. Armed with a vast array of highly illegal technology and his airtank, the "Scarab", Ted Kord became the Black Beetle!
Not long after, the Black Beetle formed a loose association with the Power Posse. An association he recently took to the next level when he shot then team leader Max Lord in the head, thus, becoming the Power Posse's new leader.

Since she's back from the dead (Thanks, Gail!), Tora Olafsdotter will be joining this year's Superhero Smackdown!...God, help her! Ladies (the one or two of you on this site!) and gentlemen (again, the one or two of you on this site), Norway's Sweetheart...ICE!
Gee, I wonder if sweet, innocent little Ice is really ready for the ribald debauchery that Smackdown devolves into every year. 
That's right! I'm popping the cherry on this year's Superhero Smackdown! Setting the tone, so to speak.
EDIT: At Masterchief's "request" (i.e. ORDER is more like it! JEEZ! Make a guy a "Mod" and it goes straight to his head!), I've updated the Smackdown pinup with info regarding Ice.
