| I have posted an image of a griffin before but this time I have a new lighting setup. Of course griffins are commonly used as mounts and although synthetic versions are cheaper and more easily recovered from injuries. Additionally synthetic versions have many advantages over living griffins being machines as they are. Griffins hate hippogriffs and hippogriffs hate griffins, this hatred is unheard of among non-sentient species and is profound when you consider that even when mounted they will attack one another on sight ignoring any commands and attempts by their riders who may be injured in the fight. Griffins and hippogriffs make no distinction between living and synthetic versions attack either with equal fervor and zeal. Why then would anyone want to ride a Griffin? They are loyal beyond words and very nearly sentient making them unparalleled for use as a mount and companion. |

| Dakalfar like all of the Elven species are long lived and can trace their ancestry back thousands of years. Their Black skin makes them stand out among alien species in that no other species possesses this trait leading most scholars and scientists to believe that the characteristic may be rooted in magic rather than genetics. Like most Elves the Dakalfar are well suited to spellcasting, unlike their cousins however they are also predisposed to Psionics so it is no surprise that they comprise nearly 20 percent of all Psi-Mages on record. Natural abilities of Dakalfar are as follows: Nightvision (they see as well in darkness as most creatures do in broad daylight), Enhanced hearing (the ears of elves are not just for show), Enhanced Strength (all Dakalfar possess some level of superhuman strength ), Enhanced Agility (Like all elves the Dakalfar are exceptionally agile and lithe). Dakalfar possess technology equal to the Intergalactic standard their magical capabilities are equal to those of any Elven race and superior to most sentient species. Dakalfar have no known enemies but do not associate with other elves...it is believed that there was some sort of falling out among other elves but no Elf will speak of it. Dakalfar get along well with Solarans (humans) and can often be found in their company. Edit: Reshot entire scene for a better look. I'm resubmitting this as only the thumbnail changed. | The Hathhiss are a race of evolved serpents, bipedal serpents. They excell in psionics and magic and comprise a fifth of the Psi-Mage populace. they are much stronger than there size or dimensions would appear. They are also incredibly tall and max out at approximately 8 feet tall. Like all reptiles and serpents they become lethargic in cold temperatures and can die in temperatures just above freezing. their home planet is quite hot and arid and full of life. It is rumore (Totally true actually) that Hathhiss cannot eat cold food preferring to digest only warm (often living) food. Their bite as one might imagine is poisonous however, due to their large size it isn't lethal in and of itself and only causes nausea and unconsciousness. |

| Andros Colony, just one of that many stops Obsidian makes in his search to find his lost wife. At a glance Andros Colony appears to be a bustling metropolis clean and pristine, a modern utopia, but this a facade. The colony is home to some of the worst organized crime head in the 5 galaxies. Sheltered by Mega-Corporations who are in bed with them making billions of credits in drug trafficking, slavery trade, and Murder for hire. On this world Obsidian's reputation precedes him and many of the criminals here would enjoy seeing him dead. Information will be heard to get...but Obsidian will have answers and men will bleed to make that happen. |

| The Stakahn Emirate along with the Sathari Empire and the Hadean Empire, were the instigators of the Millennium Wars. They spread death and destruction across 3 of the five galaxies. The Stakahn eventually withdrew from the war along with the Sathari leaving the Hadean Empire to suffer the brunt of sanctions a compensation. Additionally, the Hadeans were the only ones found to have broken intergalactic rules of conduct for treatment of prisoners of war making them guilty of war crimes. The Stakahn Emerate managed to escape from the war with few sanctions if any and have a tentative truce with the IGFW and it's allies. The Stakahn themselves are humanoid and roughly the same size and build as Solarans but have greater bone density and redundant organs. This makes them very tough opponents in combat. They enjoy being warriors and have a warrior's code which few seldom violate. |

Commander Shepard glares at me through her visor,
"All I want to know is, who you, where you came from, how you got in my combat zone and how the hell did you manage to kill 3 reapers singlehandedly?"
Liara sits across from me still reeling from the carnage she has just witnessed.
"So much destruction, it is difficult to fathom how one person could be capable of such devastation."
"Okay commander, I'll explain it one more time to you but this is the last time I say it to anyone. I'm not from here, I am from an alternate dimension where cybernetic juggernauts like those reapers do not exist but far more terrible things do. The weapon i used to kill the first one was called an anti-matter grenade, and while the damn thing's shield did repel it they weren't powerful enough to negate the effects of 4 negatron's of pure antimatter, as for the second and third "Reapers" the were killed using magic...yeah magic...the spells I used were "Disrepair, & Erase Technology, if you're a cyborg or a machine those are really devastating and they're impossible to overcome. Now if you don't mind my asking...Where exactly do you plan on taking me."
She stares out of the open door as the last Reaper fires a beam of energy and being in a state of disrepair, explodes instantly afterwards. Without looking back to me she says coldly. "I'm taking you aboard the Normandy and maybe just maybe we can find a way to stop the Reaper invasion, and with your help, maybe save the galaxy."
I chuckle, well at least this time it's just the galaxy I'm saving, lead on. I can't wait to see you ship...I'll have mine follow closely behind. Not too sure the Lillun can handle being shunted through one of their Mass relays but I guess we'll find out. |

I was going over some of my images and I came across Conan...my Conan and I decided I hadn't done the character justice so I went back to the drawing board as it were. I liked the costume but it need a cosmetic material changes, and Conan himself got a complete makeover veins included. His weapons i went a bit more archaic with...not too shabby if you don't mind me patting myself on the back.

After a brief recovery period and some training to get used to my new arm, I put my connections to work and in no time I have a lead on a small colony called New Atlantis an oceanic world with almost no landmasses. I am greeted by a very large human who calls himself Conan, I'm not here to dispute whether or not he's the real guy but he looks and acts the part. Standing next to him is of all things a Namean Elf (Namean elves are like Luminesti, they'll live forever but they have some serious quirks like all Namae." As I'm talking to the burly giant I can't help but feel like a pork chop as the elf stares me down like a hungry man does a meal.
"My interest Conan is in a man who calls himself Nechronos, thus far he has made several attempts on my life."
"Obsidan Mask, you could be none other...your reputation as a hero precedes you as does your stature HA!. I have heard of this man you seek a Wizard by all accounts, he was headed To the Hadean galaxy and I needn't tell you that anyone going there has only foul deeds in mind."
Yuck it up barbarian, short jokes...a guy pretending to be Conan just made a short joke at my expense...I'm pretty sure he has no clue that I could punch him through the nearest building but it's all good...enjoy the chuckle asshole.
"Thank you Conan, I'll head there immediately."
"Farewell and Crom guide you."
I turn to head for my ship when the elf interjects...
"Wait stranger, You will be in need of a guide. I know the Hadean systems like no one else. I could be persuaded to come with you as your...guide...for a price"
I think I've just been upgraded to t-bone. She talks like a thief...I don't need a thief. Still if she can cut my search time down and help me to avoid some run ins with those psychotic Hadeans...
"Mae govannen. Mani naa lle umien? Amin sinta lle? (Well met . What is your name? Do I know you?)
Luminesti Elvish is a common language among most elves though many have their own dialects they can usually understand our general meaning. Namaean elves are no different as her answer demonstrates.
"Saesa omentien lle. Amin Zaeerah Alagos, ann amin naa lle nai amin sinta thaliolle e dagor lle naa belegohtar, Amin naa cam'wethrin ( A pleasure to meet you. I am Zaeerah Stormwind, and I am yours to command. I know your strength in battle you are a mighty warrior. I am a skilled thief.)
"Okay thief, what we'll see how much you know of Hadeans and their galaxy soon enough."
"Manka lle merna Heru en amin." (As you wish my lord.)
That's tad formal, but what the hell at least she's respectful, though I still feel like a pork chop, er steak...whatever. Moonshadow's gonna love this...
"Ona ta a'amin nethig." (Follow me little sister.)
Side note: Up to this point I have not featured Obsidian speaking elvish but I thought this would be a good time to demonstrate that he could. Don't ask what I had to go through to find Tolkien's elven language.

Obsidian's quarters are accessed to the right and left of the main view screen on the bridge, Obsidian's quarters surround the bridge on both sides and were it not for the bridge itself would take up all of deck one in the bridge tower. As the Lillun's bridge section has been replaced so too have his quarters. The Captain's quarters are now more spacious as well as more luxuriant and are equipped with essential interfaces and a great deal of personalization, such as the four burner stove-top that Obsidian enjoys cooking on, and his coffee maker. The quarters come complete wit what is essentially a spacious home complete with personal restroom with Jacuzzi, shower and sauna, a large sleeping area with entertainment system (full 20th century videos and audio are in the master library), there is also a personal laboratory for private R&D. Since becoming the God of Shadows and Intrigue Obsidian has gained many skills and intends to have a Skill chip set implanted upon relinquishing his powers. While he won't be able to improve upon the skillchip's database they will nevertheless grant him a few specialized skills he has yet to master.
I love creating interior rooms I can get lost in them for hours tweaking this or that until I have just the right look and feel. This one took the better part of two days to refine and 2 hours to render...well worth it for just a shot of this gorgeous living room IMHO. |

In appearance a Centaur appears to be a horse with a humanoid torso and a horse's neck and head. They speak their own language and that language is the same no matter what world they are found on.
The Centaur races of the five galaxies are identical in every way no matter what world they are found on, there are some natural adaptations and color variations but these are few in number. On less developed worlds they are as savage as any species but more reclusive, on more developed worlds they are highly respected. On all worlds they are highly skilled warriors, and are highly skilled with ranged weapons of all kinds. Their eyesight is enhanced by normal standards and is similar to the eyes of a predatory bird. There are even a few worlds where they have advanced technology and those worlds are designed to accommodate them and seem quite alien to outsiders. It is possible to ride on a centaur's back but the need must be great or the friendship strong. All centaurs are somewhat claustrophobic and do not like confined spaces. As one might expect Centaurs are incredibly fast on land with an average top speed of about 65 mph.
It is not known why all Centaurs are the same on every world where they are encountered but is believed they may have been placed on the various worlds by a single intelligence. |

| The Black Mantis has some of the most advanced technology in existence...much of it from other dimensions, and parallel worlds and he puts it to good use. The OSS Drake is a perfect example of that. Firepower to put and IGFW battle cruiser to shame and facilities to rival and research station. The Drake is in a class by itself. |
