I thought it would be cool to draw Katniss wearing the fire dress from the first" Hunger Games" movie while holding a bow and arrow.
edit: I added the mockingjay symbol to fill some of the empty space in the backround |

...sometimes you just have to go with the classics.
*update: wasn't happy with the lighting. Went back and fixed it. 2nd update: brightened image after realizing how dark it was on some monitors. |

| Men in black.jpg Obsidian 2015/6/25 9:58 1727 3
Another dimensional rift has Taken Obsidian Mask off course, after a near collision with a trio of Star Destroyers he allows himself to be taken prisoner in order to gain information. The plan goes awry when his captors try to torture him. They should have just answered his questions because now there are hundreds of these dead "Troopers" everywhere. The similarities between these soldiers and the armada clones of his own world is striking and had their technology been more advanced they might have been a real obstacle but not today. However, an ominous mechanical breathing catches his attention as the last trooper falls. The seven foot dark clad figure says nothing and simply fires up his blade. A Psi-Mage maybe? a quick scan revels the man inside is a full conversion cyborg yet some form of energy emanates from him, surrounding him even. This will not be an easy fight. |

| Clark savage jr. whiz 2013/12/17 4:53 1706 3
Doc Savage's real name was Clark Savage, Jr. He was a physician, surgeon, scientist, adventurer, inventor, explorer, researcher, and, as revealed in The Polar Treasure, a musician. A team of scientists assembled by his father deliberately trained his mind and body to near-superhuman abilities almost from birth, giving him great strength and endurance, a photographic memory, a mastery of the martial arts, and vast knowledge of the sciences. Doc is also a master of disguise and an excellent imitator of voices. "He rights wrongs and punishes evildoers." Dent described the hero as a mix of Sherlock Holmes' deductive abilities, Tarzan's outstanding physical abilities, Craig Kennedy's scientific education, and Abraham Lincoln's goodness. Dent described Doc Savage as manifesting "Christliness." Doc's character and world-view is displayed in his oath, which goes as follows:[2] “ Let me strive every moment of my life to make myself better and better, to the best of my ability, that all may profit by it. Let me think of the right and lend all my assistance to those who need it, with no regard for anything but justice. Let me take what comes with a smile, without loss of courage. Let me be considerate of my country, of my fellow citizens and my associates in everything I say and do. Let me do right to all, and wrong no man. ” |

I saw “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” a little while back, but had been too busy to do this piece until now. I generally stay away from reviews & criticism…and I now this is a bit late…BUT… **SPOILERS Ahead** If you haven’t seen the Star Wars movies…read the rest later. Go see the original 3 first. Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back & Return of the Jedi, in that order. If you’ve seen The Force Awakens, but not those three, don’t fret because you caught the replay. *********** Why the title? A long, long time ago (or maybe more recently) in a galaxy far, far away… This little orange droid showed up with a strange tale…let’s see if I get this right… A small droid claiming to have been entrusted with a message of the utmost importance to a woman named Leia talks of being sent on a secret mission involving crash landing on a desert planet where, along with C3PO, he joined an orphan teen and found passage aboard the Falcon with a Wookie named Chewy. Along the way, he witnessed the search for a reclusive old Jedi Master hiding from the world, a rebel attempt to infiltrate and destroy a massive planetary weapon that “kills stars”, a tiny little alien creature with great knowledge and wisdom, the inexperienced orphan fighting and beating the veteran dark side fighter dressed in black, and a father killed by a son after an unlikely yet obvious relationship among characters was revealed… It was at this point in his story that he lost his audience. The little droid named R2 stepped forward and said: ”Beep Boop Beep Beep Bop…Eep Opp Ork Ah Ah” Which the protocol droid translated to mean: “Been there, done that…” and “get an original story you little ball of repetition.” ************* Credits and comments inside…read if you want, but be warned…more spoilage inside or just enjoy the pic… |
