| I don't even buy comics anymore but even I have had it with the ridiculous money-grubbing tactics of the comics industry. I'm sure you've all heard by now of DC Comics plan to retool their entire comic line and start everything at #1. C'mon. Really? Are sales doing so bad that you have to do a 'HAPPY DAYS-jump the shark" tactic to boost interest? How about some fresh ideas? Really..to throw away all the history built up of your entire universe just to make sales. Thank god I don't have to worry about that. |

| Just picked up the Urban Sprawl 2 by Stonemason from DAZ and wanted to postsomething with it. Thumbed through some old comics and this image hit me from an old Fantastic Four. Not exactly an accurate reproduction but then it was never intended to be. Sweet thing about this image is that the only postwork done on it was adding the sparkles to Galactus' eyes. | Continuing my 'Hot Heroes' theme, I present British bombshell Dana Daltry aka Union Jackie. UJ is my tribute to both Captain America and Wonder Woman which may be quite obvious. UJ is unique in the fact that she is both a operative for the British MI6 covert organization and also a freelance crimefighter. Although quite as well known as her native comrade, Maylen, she carries more prestige with direct connections to the Prime Minister and the United Nations [having done work for both]. |

| You know I don't normally do a lot of established comic characters, preferring to do my own, but this was a special request to test Tyler's WW Textures & Props in DAZ Studio. Overall I'd say it's a fantastic figure and is virtually material/surfaces adjustment free. I just basically used all the setting he provided for Daz Studio and came out with a perfect render. Although the bracelets and metals are good, I just couldn't acheive that perfect metal appearance he did, but this is very good enough for my comic style renders. Although I've never made a point of using any of the other WW props and textures not only provided by members here but elsewhere..I'd have to rank this one #1 so far. | Alley Cat is one of my most controversial characters. She falls in that range of Not-Quite-A-Hero-But-Not-Quite-A-Villain type figures. A notorious burglar, Allyson Smith shares a unique bond with another well known Unicorn character...Felinea. She's actually a genetic clone of Felinea but doesn't know it. Another product of the mysterious Per De Lance Project that has ties to many Unicorn characters. Ally has yet to meet her gene-sister but when she does expect some serious action. I suppose to read her character make-up you would liken her to Catwoman since they share a common thread, but Alley Cat was created long before Selina Kyle made that ever so slight nudge from notorious villain to semi-hero. | Briana was a thief of thieves. The young Vanir had robbed many lords and commoners from Aquilonia to Zamora using her cunning but most often her sword arm. She had never failed to capture her prize. When she heard of the one treasure that no man had ever stolen, the Eye of the Nirad, she swore it would be hers. Nirad was a giant cyclops demon who terrorized Hyrkania before the fall of Atlantis and was said to possess demonic powers and said to be the king of the dead, but what was most interesting about him was that his one eye was a huge gem said to worth a king's fortune. After his death his body decayed from the passage of time sat upon his throne in his cave tomb but his jewel eye remained intact. When Briana asked why no one had ever claimed it she was told grisly stories of those who tried and never returned. Unmoved by the fairy tales she set out to find the Eye. To her surprise she found the eye and secured it with relative ease..but to her dismay she found out that leaving the tomb with it in her possession was another matter all together. |

| Thought I give you guys a look at my next book project for Darkside Graffix/Unicorn Comics. The book's called Double-Play and of course its a team-up title. I know I have several other projects yet unfinished but this is a story I've been wanting to do since it was written back in the 90's. I'm about 4 pages into this 12 page book [Part 1 of 3] and will probally start posting them when i reach the halfway point. The stars of this book are Tiger Lily and Nita, plus guest appearances by Felinea and Sheba. I won't go into her backstory too much as I'm sure most of you have already heard it before, the intersting thing is that I designed this figure months ago but was never truly satisfied with the outcome. I changed her looks slightly because I think a person with godly powers should look a little more regal...apologies to Taz. |

| Recreating Princess Gamma in 3D took a lot more out me than usual mostly because I wanted to keep her design as close to the original 2D version as possible without doing a lot of texture and trans mapping so I looked around for the parts and peices to make it work. PG is basically your typical amazon warrior woman from another planet who kicks major ass...but she holds a special place in the Unicorn universe because shes also the first and perhaps only bi-sexual hero we have. |
