| Okay, so it's hard to do an "Ultimate" G.L. w/out just looking like another variant costume. Sue me. ;-P Anyway, I tried to look at the Corps (yes, they still exist in my little world) as State-Troopers in space. The stripe down the leg, the big black boots, and the goggles are all there to try and give that effect. Enjoy! -Leif. |

| Justice League Unlimited was perhaps the best American made action animation series to come along since the old Hanna Barbera shorts. A shame that it ended. One of the better stories was the first appearance of Powergirl [known as Galatea] and her battle against Supergirl. Here's my vision of that classic struggle. ENJOY! | well, its been a while since i posted, mainly due to no time, no inspiration. then i realised, that hey, in my pending folder, i had a piece i was GONNA upload, then for whatever reason, i didnt. so, here, you get that, to hold you over during this dry period. i have a comission, and a request in the works, and hopefully i'll be able to work on them over the weekend. so, enjoy this fifth version of batgirl, who is one of those chara's i can never get done to my satisfaction. |

'The JLA, after the recent messes that were the Identity and Infinite Crisis's, decide they need more photogenic members, and a media boost. With the help of an enthusiastic Wayne Enterprises, a reality TV show Called 'I Can't Believe it's Not the Justice League' was born! The show follows twelve superhero contestants, four unfortunately male, as they compete with each other for the grand prize, a slot on the justice league! The first contest is between Veteran Heroes Starfire and Powergirl! The Contest?

I always thought this was the stupidest idea for a super power! Fire hair? No wonder it's so long. Can't cut it! It was actually kind of fun to do though.

My first experiment with photomanipulations using Poser. The original figures were bare nekkid and rendered in Poser 5.
Kyle: Head is a combination of the poser head and a screen cap of Kerr Smith in Final Destination. The hair is from a photo of Kerr from his website. The ring is from the cover to Green Lantern: Fear Itself. Everything else is me & Photoshop.
Ganthet: Figure completely done in poser using a child model that I turned blue, cut off at the knees, and gave hair. The robe was completely done using the same technique I used in the Batlektra photomanip. He lost some definition and detail when I blurred him into the background. I can post him seperately if anyone's interested. |

Harley Quinn has always been one of my favorite characters. After building her 2 previous times, I'm finally happy with the results of this third build. She's based on V4 and uses the V4 bodysuit almost exclusively, with only a collar and jester crown needing to be modelled.
Kudos to my daughter for coming up with the idea of the Batman mannequin. |

soooo. the classic updraft. why DO flyers wear skirts anyway?
it makes no sense.
i think the meld between cloud and chara is alright, but i dunno.

After many weeks of work, I'm finally happy with my Wonder Woman piece.
I'd seen a number of versions of the Princess of Themyscira placed against a photo of Greece, and it just didn't look right. I chose to model my own Theryscira in Vue and, despite LONG render times, am happy with the results. |

Recreating a comic cover, even one without a background, is never easy to do. The fact that there are seven characters in the picture doesn't make it easier.
