| I was playing around with indirect lighting in Poser to see if there was a big enough difference to make it worth using. This is the result. Verdict: NOT WORTH THE WAIT! It took a full 24 hours just to precalculate the indirect lighting, and then another 12 hours to actually render; and it looks NO DIFFERENT than if I'd just used normal lighting. Won't be going through that again. Still, comments are welcome. |

| So, as a late Christmas present to myself... (money was tight last few weeks. Mom was in a car accident, so I was doing spending for two instead of one, on a one person budget, plus I didn't have time to DO any art last week. Luckily, Mom's doing great after a minor back surgery. I <3 her doctors.) I got Cookie from RuntimeDNA. After shrinking her head down a bit, and adding some old Koshini hair, I have... WONDER CHIBI! I can't decide if she's adorible or terrifying, or a bit of both. Outfit is Athena by LLF, with my Wonder Props over it. Just... seems like a cute Kid Version of WW. Maybe I'll try my hand at a mini-comic. |

| Now that DC has a multiverse i assume that if the Earth prime WW changed it would cause her multiverse counterparts to go through changes also. The new look is not a bad costume without the jacket. |

~Centuries ago, the Amazons, a proud and fierce race of warrior women, led by Queen Hippolyta, battled Ares, the God of War, and his army. During the battle, Hippolyta beheaded her son, Thrax, whom Ares forcibly conceived with her, and then defeated the God of War himself. Zeus prevented her from killing Ares. Instead, Hera bound his powers with magic bracers so that he was deprived of his ability to draw power from the aura of violence and death he could instigate, and only another god could release him.
In compensation, the Amazons were granted the island of Themyscira, where they could be eternally youthful and isolated from Man in the course of their duty of holding Ares prisoner for all eternity. Later, Hippolyta was granted a daughter, Princess Diana, whom she shaped from the sand of the sea shore and gave life with her own blood. ~ |

hey all,
well it took longer than i thought to find time to finish any kind of art.even harder to find time to see what's going on here. i have as many of you have noticed made an effort to thank those of you who comment and fav.does a body good to hear from you let me tell ya.
what's to tell about this piece... hmmm... i've been a fan of princess diana since cathy crosby and lynda carter spun around way back when.lately i've been praying SOMEone will come up with a new series and/or movie.at the moment everybody seems to be debating who should play the amazonian goddess (GINA CARANO FOR WW) and read a million reasons (excuses) for her wearing pants instead of the trademark leotard.
oddly there are an astonishing amount of images and fan made(www.facebook.com/superherophot… is doing some off the wall comic based work... check him out fo real) stuff floating around the web of her wearing everything from xenaesque battle gear to full battle armor (thanks to alex ross's kingdom come)to biker leather to the 40's short skirt to ww grannie panties of yesteryear, yeah and pants.so i'm thinking hmmm shouldn't be hard to get a decent set of togs together right ?
i for one think the arrow smallville spartacus folks should get on with it and put diana prince back on the small screen and the warner bros folks should work that batman superman magic for her big screen debut.it can't really really be all about a leotard clad Greek Goddess not getting acclaim.just picture what the spartacus girls had on ... or didn't lol.greece and rome for that matter weren't too much different right ? SOMEBODY PLEASE WRITE A SCRIPT ALREADY!!!
whew... ok rant over... basically i'm just a ww fan for life.i tried out the new 52 outfit this go round.not sure if i really like the blue boots but it was a good way to practice with daz's most finiky vicky 4.

This was one of the unaccounted for Earths on the DC Universe Wiki, so I decided to give it a shot.
In this universe, Superman never came back after Doomsday killed him, and Batman never recovered from Bane breaking his back. Wonder Woman herself, lost her lasso in a battle against Ares and was punished for losing such a powerful gift by having her powers stripped. She trained herself physically to be an athletic match for Batman, and still patrols the streets fighting crime. |

Did this one to practice my inking with pens and brushes. I still suck pretty bad with brushes, but I'm slowly getting better with the pens. I still fell back on my trusty technical pens for her eyes and mouth, though.

| Hey hey, I finally got around to doing something new. I had a lot of fun with this one but I don?t think I?ll do an image like this again. Every thing was rendered on a separate layer, (the blue, the gold, the red, etc.) Then masked off and blended over a nude rendering of the model. I?m happy with the results but it sure took a long time. Anyway thanks for checking it out. |

After many weeks of work, I'm finally happy with my Wonder Woman piece.
I'd seen a number of versions of the Princess of Themyscira placed against a photo of Greece, and it just didn't look right. I chose to model my own Theryscira in Vue and, despite LONG render times, am happy with the results. |

| You know I don't normally do a lot of established comic characters, preferring to do my own, but this was a special request to test Tyler's WW Textures & Props in DAZ Studio. Overall I'd say it's a fantastic figure and is virtually material/surfaces adjustment free. I just basically used all the setting he provided for Daz Studio and came out with a perfect render. Although the bracelets and metals are good, I just couldn't acheive that perfect metal appearance he did, but this is very good enough for my comic style renders. Although I've never made a point of using any of the other WW props and textures not only provided by members here but elsewhere..I'd have to rank this one #1 so far. This was an Idea I had to redesign the classic heroin Wonder Girl (Cassandra "Cassie" Sandsmark), in this case I cut her hair a bit shorter gave her a body suit like her name sake Wonder Woman, gave her jeans, a hoodie with the iconic W design on the back as well as on her chucks, this was done for the Mock Cover I did Wonder: World War B
