After a long hiatus the presses of Empire Magazine are once again on-line.  The staff would like to extend their appreciation for the support received after the Rebel attack that temporarily brought publications to a halt.  Rest assured that the Rebel scum responsible have been dealt with.

Thanks for dropping by.

Hey hey, I finally got around to doing something new.  I had a lot of fun with this one but I don?t think I?ll do an image like this again.  Every thing was rendered on a separate layer, (the blue, the gold, the red, etc.)  Then masked off and blended over a nude rendering of the model.  I?m happy with the results but it sure took a long time.  Anyway thanks for checking it out.

Since I'm not fast enough to pump out one of these every week, the "weekly" part of the title just didn't fit, hence Empire Magazine.  Thanks for all the great feedback on the previous covers, it's alot of fun doing these.

ATAT, Shuttle, and Helmet from Sci-Fi 3D, Olympus-Mons railing, and a ton of pixle pushing.

Have a great weekend.

Masterchief commisioned this as a tribute for Bryan Chism, an American Soldier serving in Iraq.  Bryan's squad was ambushed Jan 20, 2007 and he was killed during the fight.

This is one of the first Poser images I did, several years ago.  It was my take on the Wolf Riders from the Elf Quest series by Wendi Penn.

In 2010 Sears Recliners joined forces with Lockheed Martin and produced the first jet recliner.  After a few initial mishaps, in which some 42 couch potato test pilots were killed, engineers worked out the bugs and the "Jet Seats" were mass produced.  Only two years after it's conception the recliners made their debut in the 2012 Olympic games held in New York.  These second generation recliners are capable of reaching speeds in excess of 800 MPH.  Now even the fatest and laziest couch potato can jet out and pick up his own friggin pizza.  Optional features include built in TV remote and dual 25 gallon beer kegs with drinking tube.

When I saw the catagories for the heromorph olympics and hit on "recliner races" this idea got stuck in my head.  After several days of building a couple of rocket recliners, I am glad to finally be done with it.  Thanks for checking it out.

These are the varrious looks that Captain Atom has had through the years, with the oldest on the left and the newest on the right.  The image was done for Thayne_Luc for the Secret Santa exchange.  Merry Christmas TL.

While I'm momentarily off the hero posts, I'll go ahead and drop in one of my favorites.  An alternate historical account where Cleopatra is fooling around with Caesar and Mark Antony at the same time.

For the Lady Heromorph coloring challenge.

I am such a huge fan of Ubald?s work, so when I saw his line art being used for this months challenge, I had to enter.  Thanks Tony for such incredible art, it was a pleasure coloring it.

One more metal person, at least she's gold this time.  And I realize her hair should be fire but such is artistic license and a need to work on painting flame.

A more traditional version of the Goblin.  Well traditional in the sense he's a guy, the costume is a mix of movie and comic.
