~The character of Harold "Hal" Jordan was a second-generation test pilot, having followed in the footsteps of his father, Martin Jordan. He was given the power ring and battery (lantern) by a dying alien named Abin Sur, whose spaceship crashed on Earth. Abin Sur used his ring to seek out an individual who was "utterly honest and born without fear" to take his place as a member of the corps.~

~Jennifer Walters, the cousin of Bruce Banner (Hulk), is the small and somewhat shy daughter of Los Angeles County Sheriff William Morris Walters and Elaine (née Banner) Walters (who died in a car crash when Jennifer was seventeen). Operatives of Nicholas Trask, a crime boss who had crossed paths with her father, shot and seriously wounded her on a day that Bruce Banner happened to be in town for a visit. Since no other donors with her blood type were available, Banner provided his own blood for a transfusion; as they already shared the same blood type and DNA, his radioactive blood, combined with her anger transformed Jennifer into the green-skinned She-Hulk when the mobsters tried to finish her off at the hospital.
As She-Hulk, Jennifer possessed powers similar to those of her cousin, though at a reduced level. She also possessed a less monstrous, more amazonian appearance. Initially, the transformation to her She-Hulk form was triggered (as with Bruce Banner's) by anger. Like her cousin Bruce, his counterpart, the Leader, Doc Samson, and most other persons mutated by exposure to Gamma Radiation over the years, her mutated form was originally explained as being molded by her subconscious desire to look like the ideal woman. She eventually gains control of her transformations when Michael Morbius cures her of a lethal blood disease. As a criminal defense lawyer, she defended Dr. Michael Morbius in his trial for his vampiric killings.
Eventually, Jennifer decides that she is going to retain her She-Hulk form permanently—preferring the freedom, confidence, and assertiveness that it gave her compared to her more timorous and fragile "normal" form. After her brief solo career, she joined the Avengers. This led to her being transported to Battleworld by the Beyonder and her participation in the Secret Wars, most notable for sparking her long standing rivalry with the newly empowered Titania. After the heroes returned to Earth, she temporarily replaced the Thing as a member of the Fantastic Four.
During her tenure with the Fantastic Four, She-Hulk had to prevent a radiation leak in a downed S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier. This radiation exposure had a drastic effect on Jennifer: she could no longer transform back into her original human form. However, this was an agreeable turn of events for her, since she preferred being She-Hulk, and it was revealed much later that the block was purely psychological.
Shortly after that, she appeared before the Supreme Court, where she battled Titania again.~

the other night i was watching a wwe wrestling brodcast that featured kane and his brother the UNDERTAKER. i was so blown away by the storyline i decided to go to the darkside myself and see if i could come up with a kane like character. well i can lol.i had some probs with m4's morphs but i managed to eke out a cool likness just the same.i still need to do a lot of work to get him the way i want him to be but hey i'm always up for a challenge.

here's part 2 of a kind of challenge by photographer and friend Rob Hill. when he saw 'sandstorm' he said 'how bout her ridin a scorpion ?' to which i said '*crickets* ... oh wow ! hell yeah !can do !' ... my man just kicks my muses in the A@$ every time lol!
well it took me the better part of a day to finish this one up. i tried out some new ps actions from some really talented folks around deviantart.i wasn't too pleased with the scorpion at first since it isn't 100% poseable but a little tweaking i got it in position. so here ya go rob base lol hope ya like it :)

hey all,
well it took longer than i thought to find time to finish any kind of art.even harder to find time to see what's going on here. i have as many of you have noticed made an effort to thank those of you who comment and fav.does a body good to hear from you let me tell ya.
what's to tell about this piece... hmmm... i've been a fan of princess diana since cathy crosby and lynda carter spun around way back when.lately i've been praying SOMEone will come up with a new series and/or movie.at the moment everybody seems to be debating who should play the amazonian goddess (GINA CARANO FOR WW) and read a million reasons (excuses) for her wearing pants instead of the trademark leotard.
oddly there are an astonishing amount of images and fan made(www.facebook.com/superherophot… is doing some off the wall comic based work... check him out fo real) stuff floating around the web of her wearing everything from xenaesque battle gear to full battle armor (thanks to alex ross's kingdom come)to biker leather to the 40's short skirt to ww grannie panties of yesteryear, yeah and pants.so i'm thinking hmmm shouldn't be hard to get a decent set of togs together right ?
i for one think the arrow smallville spartacus folks should get on with it and put diana prince back on the small screen and the warner bros folks should work that batman superman magic for her big screen debut.it can't really really be all about a leotard clad Greek Goddess not getting acclaim.just picture what the spartacus girls had on ... or didn't lol.greece and rome for that matter weren't too much different right ? SOMEBODY PLEASE WRITE A SCRIPT ALREADY!!!
whew... ok rant over... basically i'm just a ww fan for life.i tried out the new 52 outfit this go round.not sure if i really like the blue boots but it was a good way to practice with daz's most finiky vicky 4.

hiya,
hope ya'll are havin a sun spring start.
i thought i'd take up a challenge on this piece to create something steampunkish from my friend carolyn,her sister,and my man rob base. i didn't really have an idea or a concept though.so like always i did some googling and realized steampunk is a world all it's own.gothic,victorian and scifi, lace and metal all mixed up .kinda had me thinking about flash gordon,sherlock holmes,and dr. who.definitely a far cry from what i'm usually dreaming up.
nonetheless putting this together was a blast.i'll undoubtly be doing more in the near future once i can get some more materials to work with.
anyhoo... i'm off to rest up and dream some more.enjoy :)

Mister Mxyzptlk (/mɪksˈjɛzpɪtəlɪk/ miks-YEZ-pit-əl-ik, /ˈmɪksɪlplɪk/), sometimes called Mxy, is a fictional impish character who appears in DC Comics' Superman comic books, sometimes as a supervillain and other times as an antihero.
Mr. Mxyzptlk was created to appear in Superman #30 (Sept. 1944), in the story "The Mysterious Mr. Mxyzptlk", by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Ira Yarborough. But due to publishing lag time, the character saw print first in the Superman daily comic strip by writer Whitney Ellsworth and artist Wayne Boring.[1]

well i'm back to work on my horsemen series.i kinda had writers block this go round trying to come up with a story for it.no biggie though. i was watching wwe wrestling last week and heard the song for christian who made a big comeback with his longtime friend,the recently retired edge.this morning i pulled up the video on youtube and thought 'perfect lyrics to sum up what this pic is all about'.
in other news i've finally stepped up an aquired a wacom tablet.so i'll be doing some real drawing again in the near future as well as adding more cool effects to my renders yaaaay!.

~When Wonder Woman's homeland is first introduced in 1941, it is referred to as Paradise Island, a secret and hidden island inhabited by the Amazons of myth. The Amazons had grown tired of the evil ways of mankind in ancient Greece after being enslaved by Hercules and had separated themselves to this island where they could practice a peaceful way of life and cultivate their minds. With the island blessed by the Olympian Gods, no man is allowed to physically set foot on it. When United States Army intelligence officer Steve Trevor's plane crashes there during World War II, he is nursed back to health on the nearby Island of Healing by Princess Diana, daughter of the island's Queen Hippolyta. Diana soon competes against other Amazons to become Wonder Woman, the representative from Paradise island who will accompany Steve back to "Man's World" and aid in the fight against the Axis powers. It is established that all Amazons are adept at a discipline called "bullets and bracelets" in which they are able to deflect bullets fired at them using the metal cuffs on their wrists.
This basic back-story remains intact throughout the Golden Age and Silver Age of Comic Books, until the 1985-1986 Crisis on Infinite Earths storyline. Upon the conclusion of this limited series, most characters in the DC Comics universe underwent some revamp or retcon in their storyline history, and Wonder Woman was one of several characters whose entire continuity was rebooted.~
